A dump. Filthy, decrepit, worn out. Tv, but no cable or satellite (front desk said it was mentioned on the website, but when I opened the site he couldn’t find it. “It says we have tv, it doesn’t say we have cable.” I took too many pictures to post of dirt, clumsy attempts to patch or repair walls, shower stall, doors…They insisted on a $200 damage deposit, there wasn’t anything in the room that would add up to $200.

Bed was not very comfortable. Dirty and very small. No closet or counter in the bathroom to put anything Was very walkable to all of thr attractions.

Decent stay!

Room was better than expected, decent bed and tv. No coffee/tea in the room. Guy behind reception was pretty rude to another guest whilst I was checking in. Other staff were polite. Good stay, nice street with good food/drink options.

Very helpful staff; the area was surprisingly interesting, and we still managed to walk to the waterfront every day. Only 2 hangers in the room. Bring hangers with you. Several damaged things in room but there was still a damage deposit of $200.

Very clean but parking is limited. There is no TV which is ok, but the internet connection was not good. Makes down time frustrating. Great location and good food places around neighborhood.

The rooms themselves were clean, small, but clean. Area was very nice. No TV- did not know that in advance. Main issue- constant door slamming and heavy items being dragged and dropped. The whole floor was shaking from 9 pm till after midnight both nights. I think the place also has apartments for rent- and think what we heard was someone moving in or out.

The rooms are extremely noisy. The TV didn’t work. Light switches didn’t work. I’m pretty sure somebody upstairs was filming porn all night long. Never got any sleep because of the constant screaming and slamming of furniture until 5 o’clock in the morning. We’ll never stay there again.

The location was great. It's in north end of Halifax, and it's close to everything - bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants. However, as other reviewers said, the wall is extremely thin and it's not so comfortable to find peace in the room. You hear the door slamming every time other guests come back, hear they talk as there are pretty big gap at the bottom of the door. It's a good option if you're looking for something close to downtown on a budget. But if you look for restful night, this is not for you.

The hotel is rundown, which wouldn't be bad if it was clean, but it looks like the carpets, walls, toilet, sink, etc. haven't been cleaned in years. The AC was dirty too and so loud, I couldn't sleep all night. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Price was right but you get what you pay for I guess. Convenient location. Lots of nice small eateries near by. No customer service or house keeping. No parking except on street at night and the night I arrived was street cleaning night so I wound up paying fine and staff didn't even mention it. Building was noisy, and bed not attached to wall kept on moving everytime I sat on the edge. Not what it use to be, I think new owners and they are cutting way back with our dropping their $$$.

I liked that it was on a quite street near downtown and many cute coffee places around. I didn't like that they didn't have coffee in the room, no hairdryer, mold around the shower door and a large leak stain with cracked plaster right above the bed. also the blinds are not opaque. no parking no elevator
