You couldn't dine outside, the highway was very close and noisy. The first room they gave us was awful. The second one was better. The staff was very accommodating and did give us excellent service. You don't want room 310 though. Bed and pillows were awful in that room.

Arrived late evening in the rain..yes it rained in NS! Not a very friendly greeting by front desk personnel. No assistance with our bags. Room was small and tight with 2 doubles - and 4 adults! Room and bathroom need some serious updatng. Restaurant was closed, bar was closed. Next morning walked the grounds..beautiful location but even the grounds need updating.

Lovely stay, couple things could be improved

Lovely Inn. We really enjoyed our three nights here. We would stay again. Pros - very clean - excellent service - comfortable and spacious rooms - large hot tub in room - ground floor walk out to patio Cons - no elevator - no luggage carts we had to carry everything from the car piece by piece to our room - first room we were placed had some ceiling work performed in the washroom. We heard dripping water and then we were asked to move to another room. - second room was great. The only challenge in this room was the high pitch squealing coming from the fridge. We just sucked it up so we didn’t need to move all of our things again, no carts to help. - breakfast is not included with the room - if decor is a factor for consideration, this inn is very quaint but decor is very outdated. This was probably designed in the late 90’s. The overal theme is very dark.
