Akroyd House - The Mackintosh Room
Akroyd House is a brand newly renovated guest house in the centre of Halifax, West Yorkshire.
Our venue includes 4 spacious bedrooms with King size luxury beds, complimentary WiFi, 4K TVs, a comfortable seating and desk.
Our en suite bathrooms in all rooms include a toilet, sink and luxury rainfall shower.
We also have a communal kitchen and snug area with a couch, 4K TV and dining table. Our kitchen includes a stove, toaster, fridge, Nespresso Coffee machine and is for all guests to enjoy.

Accommodations
Each of our four, thoughtfully designed rooms, feature, en-suite bathrooms, with spacious luxury rain showers. All rooms are fitted with modern amenities, including complimentary Wi-Fi, a 43" Flat screen TV and a luxury king sized bed.
Common Areas
Our kitchen and living space, features an open congenial area with a widescreen HD TV, a cosy sofa and a dining area.
Our kitchen is fitted with high quality kitchen facilities, including an electric stove/oven, fridge and washing machine. The kitchen and snug area is communal for all to enjoy during their stay.
Local Attractions
Akroyd House is conveniently located near the Piece Hall (8 min walk), The Victoria Theatre (12 min walk), Eureka (10 min walk)The Wainhouse Tower (10 minutes by car).
Transport & Parking
Akroyd House is conveniently located just 3 minutes walk from the bus station and 10 minutes from Halifax train station.
We also have 2 on-site parking spaces (available on a first-come, first serve basis) and a multistorey car park just 2 minutes away.

Akroyd House is secured by our pin operated door systems. When booking, an email is sent with your door pin code to automatically allow access to the venue and your room.
Guest access
Guests have access to their bedroom with en suite and a kitchen and living space on located in the lower ground floor.
All rooms are accessed with a custom pin code sent after booking. No check-in or check-out is required.

Akroyd House includes 2 on-site car parking spaces. These are not reserved and can be used on a first-come, first-serve basis.
There is more free parking 2 minutes furhter down Akroyd Place, and a multi-storey car park located just 4 minutes walk away (Car Park Broad Street Plaza by APCOA)
