Hotel is worn… needs updating, specifically the room doors, electrical and TV… friendly staff, they were great… area seems to be doing better with new condos being built… easy on, easy off for the highway

While this property is older, it is a great location for convenience of travel around the Halifax area. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The bathroom was recently renovated and updated. The property offered a contential breakfast and lemon water in the lobby. Staff were friendly. A great value place to stay.

Rooms are very old and not clean. No plugs by bed. Room is very dirty. Outside is very dirty with cigarette bits everywhere. Would not recommend this place.

Do not stay here! Disgusting and unsafe!

Awful! Do not stay here! Online photos are misleading and any good reviews you read are clearly written by the hotel. This hotel is rundown, unsafe and possibly a health hazard. There was dirty laundry in a drawer in the dresser, garbage, tissues and cans under the bed. The door has no proper lock, the lights are all lamps with extension cords running everywhere. The air conditioner was unbearably loud and a free standing unit vented to a window which therefore also doesn’t lock. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but requested a refund and left after the first sleepless night. I would have left immediately but it was late when we arrived and couldn’t find another hotel. The area is questionable at best and the parking lot was dark. Baseboards were falling off the walls, fan in bathroom was busted and bedframe broken. They lock the front door of the hotel from the outside at 11pm until 5am and the girl at the desk said she was leaving at 11pm. I’ve got calls in to the local fire department about the electrical and outside doors being locked and to the local health unit about how unsanitary the room was. When we spoke to the front desk they were rude and unhelpful and the manager even initially declined the refund request until I showed her the photos but I’m still waiting for the refund.
