Lcationis excellent in the hesrt of the stunning Capital, Halifax. Parking across the street at Scotia Squate is 'spot on'! At 30$ca 24 hrs needs to be factored into your trip! The convenience makes it a good deal. Le Tempo restaurant on site at the Barrington is also ideal. Varied prices give some relief; coffee is very tasty; and the Scotia Square food court across the street has oodles of selections. On the down side, I was looking forward to a swim but the pool is more for toodles and young children and the change room and sauna need an update! Same for the TVs which are ´t smart. I love the Barrington, been there many times over the years, but just like aging people, some things need caring attention. Still I did enjoy my stay very much!

Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is clean and has amenities. Only thing is it seems to be a little run down in some places, the rooms are a bit dated but that may have just been the rooms that are lower priced. But serves it's purpose and is clean and safe, can't complain at the price point.

The property has everythingg central wgich is great parking was a nightmare we were charged 26.95 to leave and still had to come back and had to fight to get the parking out waived qhen you were suppose to be able to come and go. The treck from the parkade to the actual hotel is not quick or easy and the room was great but had trouble adjusting the heat
