Challenging sleep due to heat

The heat in 313 was out of control. We barely slept because the room was so hot. The fan was turned on high and we turned the temperature to 15 degrees but it felt like 28 degrees.

Very nice centrally located hotel within walking distance to many bars/resturants, big spacious rooms, comfy bed, very warms pool with hot tub gym. Ample parking on street or garage. Definitely a must stay while visiting Halifax.

Terrible experience! Hotel not only looks tired, it was feeezing and the heating was not working!!!! 3 hrs later back and forth on the phone I got two TINY heaters. No apologies no compensation absolutely nothing!

A+ Hotel in the Middle of All the Action

Our room was excellent with a view of the harbor (for a small markup). The suite is recommended for a family due to the separation of the bedroom and the TV/kitchen area for those with different bad times. The only drawback is parking the downtown area is difficult.

The room and beds were excellent. Spacious and comfortable, private and clean. The only problem was that it was not soundproof. You could hear everything going on in the hallway, other rooms- especially loud thumps of the doors closing. The biggest issue was hearing the noise from the street. It was like we were in the middle of a busy city street but we were on the 6th floor. I would not recommend a street view rooms because of this. It was a huge interference with our ability to get a peaceful sleep.

The staff was so helpful and friendly! They also upgraded our room which was amazing! The only thing I found that was missing was a complimentary breakfast. Tea and coffee was provided but juice and light options would have made it excellent.
