Amazing property! Extremely clean and welcoming. We stayed in Room 7 with a king size bed. Gorgeous furnishings and nice private bath! Scrumptious breakfast included. The grounds are stunning! Wish we had stayed longer! We actually saw a bald eagle!

Room 7 is next to an open staircase directly above an active restaurant. It is loud until late. The only way to block the noise is the in-room standalone a/c, that is frankly too loud for a small space you are trying to sleep in. The first night, I could hear talking late at night, so I walked to the stairs and saw the restaurant was closed, and a staff person was just talking loudly in the phone. One person taking it upon herself to ruin my sleep. I started walking downstairs to confront her and she walked to the other end of the building with her phone. I was so angry I considered canceling my second night. There is no designated staff or desk for inn guests. When we arrived, we found our room & checked in using a code. Sometimes we were lucky and someone working in the restaurant could answer a question, such as “can we use the EV charger?” I texted that question to the inn’s VRBO account and they never responded. The restaurant staff turned on the charger, but it turned off on its own while charging and no one was around to ask why. It’s not so much an inn and restaurant as a restaurant with rooms. I checked with another guest and other rooms are quieter. Don’t choose number 7.

Great hosts, we had everything we needed and they had great advice for what to see and do in the area. The restaurant downstairs was charming and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back for another visit soon!
