The staff are the highlight of the hotel, very competent and eager to please. We were upgraded to a room with a window without our asking. The room was quiet with good individually-controlled AC, comfortable bedding and fast WiFi. Cable TV reception was spotty. The room and hotel are beautiful, with hardwood and mosaic tile flooring, granite countertops and wood furniture, but the new owners need to update certain things. The tub is raised from its platform and the glass wall surround was so short that we repeatedly flooded the bathroom floor and the space between the tub and wall. The pool deck had splintered wood which needs to be replaced. The staff were very apologetic when I brought up the bathroom issue and went out of their way to compensate me. Breakfast consisted of lots of food options (Asian, Western, made to order and buffet items), with coffee, tea, and juices. Overall , we enjoyed our stay and I am very confident that with minor updates, this hotel will be a great one.

Located a block from the lake, the Hotel Solis is in the most charming neighborhood. The lake is a favorite spot for exercising and picture taking. There is an abundance of restaurants and shopping close by. The hotel is modern and up to date in both fashion and services. Be sure to have the staff book your airport car. The breakfast is fabulous, with both continental and Asian cuisine. In addition to the buffet that is extensive there is also a chef available for eggs and omelets. The EXCELLENT bellmen, desk staff and maids make for the BEST place to stay in Hanoi!

A cozy hotel with friendly and helpful staffs. Convenient location for dining and shopping, just a short walk to the lake and the Old Quarter night market. The room was very clean and well-equipped. We will definitely return for our next business trip. Highly recommended for everyone.

We zijn erg goed geholpen door het personeel, Jenny in het bijzonder, met al onze vragen. Het hotel ligt op een geweldige plek in het historisch centrum van Hanoi, waar van alles te zien en te doen is. Het hotel is misschien niet supergroot, maar heeft een zwembad op het dak en een lekkere plek met uitzicht om te loungen. Ik kom hier graag weer terug!
