Best service I’ve ever received at a hotel! Tamila at reception did an exceptional job introducing us to the city itself, the culture, the restaurants and facilities at the hotel. They welcomed us with a small snack and drink. We got a room upgrade, so it was very spacious. Staff went out of the way to help us, be it bringing our laundry delivered by an outside company, assisting us with luggages and making sure we were satisfied with the meals and room. Taste of breakfast is exceptional! Made to order Bun Cha is a must try. Mia Restaurant is equally stellar and we ended up eating there twice. Tasted like a Michelin starred restaurant and the wait staff even deshellwd seafood items for us. When we checked out for Halong Bay cruise, the reception staff packed us a small snack since the ride to the cruise ship terminal would be long. Overall, this is the best hotel I’ve visited!

Great hotel in the heart of the city - near the lake. Room was good standard, good skybar, excellent service, staff are the best (and in Vietnam that means something as most hospitality staff are amazing) - the groundfloor restaurant is good value and looks great but there are also lots of options in the area - from the cheap to the fine (Hanoi Garden our favourite). Thoroughly recommend.

The service here is incredible - Grace and Lily were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. They always greeted us by name, helped us plan our stay in Hanoi, prepared us a box of fruit before our long trip to Ha Long Bay, organising travel to/from the airport, and going out of their way to ensure we had a great holiday. Easily the best service I’ve received at any hotel. The rooms are clean and presentable, though perhaps a bit small. That said, the location is perfect - most sights are within a 30 minute walk. The breakfast is nice, and has various western and Vietnamese options available. The rooftop bar has a great view and is much calmer than the rowdy rooftop bars on the main touristy roads. The restaurant downstairs, Mia, has nice food options from across Vietnam (our favourites were the catfish and the black sesame soup for dessert). Our server Luna made excellent recommendations. Would very happily stay here again on our next trip to Hanoi

Our stay at Solaria was excellent! I want to highlight specifically the very high level of service. From our initial check-in, we felt very welcome and were given great advice and useful intention to start our trip to Hanoi and Vietnam. Each colleague we interacted with, and especially the front desk, were extremely helpful and kind. They helped us with getting an early check-in, booking a massage, and as well, preparing a food bag for our long train trip. They remembered details about us (e.g. that one of us was vegetarian), which was really impressive. The room was perfect for us, clean and spacious, and offered a nice place to relax and sleep. Breakfast was also a highlight. It’s a mix of ‘à la carte’ and a buffet. Everything we tried was delicious and it’s a shame we were only there one night. The location of the hotel is also great as it’s central and close to many things (Old Quarter). We would definitely look to stay again if the hotel is available when visiting Hanoi again. I would recommend it to anyone visiting the city. Thank you again for the wonderful stay!
