I was so happy with my stay at Solaria Hotel. Room was very comfortable with great air conditioning and plenty of amenities and free bottled water daily. Bed was very large and extremely comfortable with perfect pillows. Breakfast provided a large western menu option and Vietnamese cuisine also. We dined at Mia’s, the onsite restaurant 3 times and enjoyed delicious Vietnamese dishes and excellent service. The staff in reception were friendly and professional and assisted us with day trips, SIM card installation and airport pickup at very affordable prices. We were allowed to extend our check out time on our last day until 4pm for $40 aud.- 5 star service thank you Solaria team.

Our stay at Solaria Hotel was amazing — easily the best in Hanoi! The room was spacious and beautiful, which is rare in the Old Quarter. The location was perfect, close to shops, cafes, restaurants, and main sights. Breakfast was delicious, and we loved relaxing with cocktails at the rooftop bar after exploring. A huge thanks to Liam, who organised our Ha Long Bay trip, airport transfers, and even a complimentary foot spa. He made everything stress-free, especially travelling with kids. We also received a lovely thank-you gift of Vietnamese coffee when we left — such a thoughtful touch. Couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend Solaria Hotel!

The staff at this hotel were the best we experienced when travelling Vietnam, very attentive and informative throughout our stay. The breakfast options were very varied and all homemade. The staff even arranged for a gluten free waffle to be made for one of our party. The staff is conveniently located within the Old Quarter, right next to Hoan Kien Lake. Cannot recommend more highly.

The hotel was pretty much exactly as the pictures show. Breakfast was incredible, the staff were kind and helpful, and the spa, restaurants, and sky bar were wonderful. We paid for one of the cheapest rooms here, and while the actual room was modest in size and did not have much view, we thought we got a great value for the money (you can pay for a larger room if that'simportant). Location is right in Old Quarter with easy walkability. Airport transfer was simple even with a later arrival.

The staff at Solaria is amazing they go above and beyond for all their hotel guests. The front desk staff helped make spa appointments for me at places outside of the hotel which was extremely helpful since many people didn’t speak English. Hotel location was great too for easy access to shopping and restaurants and walkable to many tourist spots. The breakfast is also very good has both Vietnamese and western options and everything is fresh and made to order. The bathrooms are quite small but it was not that big of deal for me.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It was convenient and the staff was over the top wonderful. Helpful and forward thinking- they told us things before we even had time to ask- they are definitely prepared to assist backpackers and travelers alike. With the ability to store luggage, recommendations of what to see and do, even a train schedule for train street! They did a sweep of our room before we left to make sure we didn’t leave anything behind, and offered us a place to freshen up when we came back to get our luggage before heading to the airport. Fabulous service- Lily and Susan are absolutely fantastic. The buffet breakfast had everything we could want and more. Definitely 5 stars. If we even return, this is the only place we’d stay!

We stayed at Solaria for our anniversary and the staff made the experience unforgettable. They decorated our bed with petals and towel swans, which was such a sweet touch. The service was above and beyond—when the airline lost my luggage and another traveler’s bag was dropped off by mistake, the staff stayed with me that night making calls until my bag was returned (which was huge since we had a cruise the next morning!). Throughout the trip they helped with transfers, worked with our cruise company, and even sent us off with gifts like coffee. Special thanks to Cheese and Lily, though everyone was wonderful. Truly some of the best service I’ve ever experienced!

I am writing this review when I am on my way to the airport because this should not wait. Solaria Hotel was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had. First of all, thank you so much Lilly and Grace and the whole team who made this short trip amazing. From the check-in to local tips and tricks, from Spa to last day shower room arrangement before our flight; they made everything so much easy for us. I can only recommend this central, sweet place to stay. Also, thank you so much for the goodbye gift, we'll remember you whenever we use it!
