Private, peaceful beach retreat just off M-119, this rustic cabin offers stunning lake views and unforgettable sunsets. The 484-square-foot studio is thoughtfully designed with one queen bed, a full kitchen, and a bathroom, plus generous outdoor space to soak in the natural surroundings. Four sliding glass screen doors invite in fresh lake breezes, letting you feel connected to nature even from inside.
The cabin is intentionally simple and cozy—there’s no air conditioning, but a ceiling fan and tower fan keep air moving, while an electric fireplace and bathroom heater provide warmth on cooler days. Step outside to a spacious, wooded deck that offers privacy along with sweeping views of the beach, lake, and evening sky.
Please note: the deck does not have a railing, so young children should be supervised while outside.
Just beyond the door, you’ll find 1,600 feet of shared association beach, with this cabin tucked at the quiet south end. Guests are welcome to use the provided kayaks, beach chairs, and umbrella, as well as the propane grill and fire pit. On clear nights, the stargazing is exceptional.
Access is part of the adventure: the association road is located 1.3 miles north of Good Hart General Store along M-119 (look for the Chippewa Cove Woods sign). The descent down the bluff is steep and single-lane—downhill traffic has the right of way, and a 10 MPH speed limit is strictly observed throughout. Please note: do not turn onto Schoolcraft Trail, as it does not connect to the property. Parking is available in the circular drive in front of the cabin, and arriving during daylight is recommended.
Per association rules, only standard passenger vehicles are permitted—no ATVs, trailers, campers, or motorized recreational vehicles.
