I feel bad saying this because I really feel the staff tried their best. But the rooms were not up to the standard of holiday inn hotels I have frequented in the past. If you’re expecting a 5 star experience, you don’t understand what a holiday inn is; basic and affordable and reliable. This sadly was not. The first room we had smelled like chemicals. Being very pregnant, I requested a new room and was told that nothing was available. After some discussing, my husband was able to get us a new room. Solved? Nope. Second room had a slight marijuana smell. The carpet had a blood stain. Yes BLOOD. There was a blood stain on the wall AND on the handle of one of the drawers! Like what?? The toilet seat didn’t stay up for my husband to pee. My parent’s room didn’t have a working thermostat so no AC. My sister’s room they couldn’t get the keycard to work so they had to move rooms. 3 rooms. 2 days I will never get back. But the front desk staff was so nice. Kudos to them. But stay away. Splurge a little more and go to the Marriott next door.
