Great little rustic cabins. They’re old but that’s the personality of the place. Perfect little cabins. But the bed… I slept on the couch because the bed was brutal. Which is rare for me to ever even write a review. But for future guests bring a foam topper. For the price I would assume the bed would be a little better. The fan was clicky and old and they’re warm. So just bring an extra fan if you’re coming in summer. We’ve stayed in ten cabins next door before and the beds were great. Everything else was fine.

Bar b q was unusable to say the least - lifted the lid and shut the lid - property is not kept well - never cuts the grass - Each place should have equal number of seats and picknick tables outside - cobwebs throughout the cabin - if they updated the cabins a bit would be a huge improvement. Has potential but they don't put in the effort.

Well i like rustic cabins didnt have high expectations. Shower is small for tall people and basically like showering in a tin box. The only bugs were some ants in the bathroom. Each cabin has a fire pit and chairs provided pokers for marshmallows and hotdogs. My partner wasn't a fan prefers more hotel like quality but i didn't mind it.

It was a very neat place to stay. You get your own little cabin with a fire pit. Gives you that camping in the woods feeling. Definitely could use some TLC. Paint, cutting the grass, and inside the cabin there was some water damage from the shower and a bad odor when first walked in. Could have used some fresh towels and toiletries but all in all it was a neat place to stay.

This place is a perfect option for staying somewhere affordable and comfortable. Only 15 mins away from Banff, 5 mins from Canmore. Lots of food/grocery options in those towns and keeps you close to the park for easy travel. Bed was comfy, kitchen/bathroom was clean. The woman who runs the front office was very polite and has a super cute dog. Overall, the place gives off a glamping vibe which was perfect for what we wanted, which was to stay somewhere affordable and close to the park. Cheers!

Quaint little cabin

Definitely a no frills stay on my motorcycle trek. The cabin was clean and comfortable but I must say that some yard work would have made a great deal of difference in first impressions. The grounds need mowing and looked really unkept. Luckily the cabin was far more card for. Comfy bed and ice at the office

We enjoyed our stay in our cottage. Everything was as rustic as we expected but the place was clean. The bed is tight to the wall so we moved it slightly so that there was easy access to both sides. The bathroom and shower are tight... not a lot they can do about it. We would have liked to use a barbecue but the one with our chalet was extremely rusty, as was the barbecue at our neighbour's cabin. The young man who checked us in did not share any details of the property beyond the need to empty garbage upon check out. He also didn't have an answer to where we could swim in the area. We thought this was a legit question but it appeared out of left field to him. We didn't feel overly welcomed, rather just another tourist checking in.

Parking to the cabins was not great. 2 small pillows for my wife and I. Would have liked the option to have a couple more. Other than that, it was rustic and very nice. The staff was amazing! Thank you for the very nice stay!

It’s nice to have a cabin to yourself. They were old and a bit rundown. Power heater was out, but the staff were wonderful and came by immediately to fix it. It was just a pilot light issue. It was a long way from Banff, but nothing was available in Banff. There was a local town a few kilometers away which had great restaurants. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable that I’ve stayed in. I would stay here again.
