All garbage is to be taken with you. A landfill pass is left for you with the welcome binder. Please use this to remove all garbage

Further Details:

There are 5 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms in total. Here’s the layout:
Top Floor: 3 bedrooms. One is in a suite with its own full bathroom, and there’s another full bathroom down the hall for the other two bedrooms.
Main Floor: 1 bedroom located next to a half bathroom (sink and toilet only).
Basement: 1 bedroom. There’s no finished bathroom here, but there is an unfinished one that could be renovated.
Additional: There are also 2 beds in a bunkie.


Heating & Cooling: Multiple sources are available:
Fireplace on the main floor
Heat pump (used for both heating and cooling)
Propane furnace (the thermostat automatically switches between the furnace and heat pump depending on conditions, since heat pumps aren’t ideal in very cold temperatures)

Parking: There’s a large parking area that can accommodate 5–7 cars comfortably

Smart Features: Smart thermostat, smart fire alarms, and a smart deadbolt.
A lockbox with a key is available as a backup for the smart deadbolt.
Wi-Fi: High-speed internet throughout the property.
Entertainment: 4 Roku Smart TVs with Disney+ and Netflix included.

The lower level walkout basement offers a games room for all ages! Fully equipped with:
Air Hockey table
Foosball
Basketball shoot / net game
Pool table

Please note Bunkie on property is for seasonal summer and warm season use only. There is no heat source. It includes 2 beds (SINGLE BUNK) and a fan. There is electricity in the bunkie.

Here are a few instructions to help make your stay awesome!
There is a welcome binder which is strongly recommended to be read upon check-in located on the front hall table.

Please review the checkin message you will recieve the night prior to checkin it will have further information as well.

No shoes inside. We pride ourselves on the space we have created and its cleanliness and care. :)

No unauthorized commercial photography or events. Absolutely no smoking inside the premises. All cigarettes must be cleaned up after and put out fully and safely. Thank you.

Please respect the privacy and wellbeing of our lake neighbours. Our policy is one of quiet and relaxed enjoyment. No loud music or excessive noise. Sound travels and is particularly amplified on the lake. Should you have a speaker, we do suggest turning it inward from the lake it makes a bug difference.

Quiet hours between 11pm to 7 am. We have a very quiet and peaceful lake. Should this be violated, we have a zero tolerance policy and you will be asked to leave.

*** Municipal by law outdoor fire law: absolutely no fire to be started before 7:15 pm **** No daytime burning at all. Heavy fines associated if not adhered too.
Fire wood is not included unless otherwise arranged. Thank you!

***ABSOLUTELY NO FIREWORKS PERMITTED. YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM PROPERTY IMMEDIATELY***

A 1 x use landfill dump card is provided in the 'welcome binder'.
If no arrangements are made in advance, all garbage must be discarded with the dump card returned prior to checkout. Failure to return will result in a request of $49 +tax.
This ‘one-time’ use landfill card to be used upon checkout to avoid returning to the Chalet. If you do not take your garbage with you upon checkout a $99 +tax fee will be requested.
The welcome binder on site has further directions and hours of operation for the closest landfills. The landfill card will be found with the welcome binder on the front hall table.

Water is from a drilled well and potable . It is tested yearly for quality assurance. There is also a UV filtration system in place.

***It is imperative that the water in the cottage is used in moderation as excessive/over use will result in the well to run dry for several hours and/or days.*** We do suggest spacing out showers to avoid overrunning the systems. Thank you.

Please be kind with the dishwasher and drains. We ask that you rinse plates thoroughly before placing in the dishwasher. Also please do not allow food down the drain as it is not good for the septic system.

Laundry facilities are on site and deterent is provided as well.

For the coffee & tea lovers:
The cottage is equipt with the following:
coffee pot large regular machine
kettle

Please ensure all doors are either kept shut or the screen in place, there is alot of wildlife that would love to come in but are not welcome.

Propane BBQ on deck. Turn OFF when done. This is imperitive. Thank you. BBQ utensils can be found with the BBQ. Thank you in advance for cleaning the bbq after your use, especially if cooking something particularly greasy. If the tank seems low please advise the cohost.

Seasonal water amentities are included: 2 kayaks.
Please return the equiptment back to where you found it by the water.
2 adult Lifejackets are available. However, we suggest bringing any infant or specific size life jackets with you to ensure proper fit for safety & comfort. Thank you.

The cottage is equipped with a furnace/AC which is adjustable with the thermostat located in the front main hall.

HOT TUB:
Operating instructions can be found in the welcome binder in the front hall. Please familiarize yourself with them and keep cover on when not in use.
DO NOT put any substances into the water. settings are set comfortably for you.
Feel free to contact us if you need further assistance.

Thank you for turning off lights when not in use and exterior lights in particular before turning in for the night to help conserve energy. Much appreciated!

Please ensure you have read and understand the operating rules for the hotub & amenities. We want you to be as prepared for your stay as possible to maximize the enjoyment and fun!! We are happy to answer any questions you may have anytime!

Washrooms
We kindly ask that no baby wipes or feminine hygiene products be flushed down the toilets. The septic system is sensitive and improper flushing could cause a sewage backup.
Bins are provided for your convenience - thank you for helping us care for our home.

Outdoor Bunkie
Our outdoor bunkie is a cozy little getaway surrounded by nature. It’s equipped with a small heater for cooler evenings. THIS IS THE 6TH BEDROOM AND ONLY SEASONALLY AVAILABLE (June- October)
For safety reasons, please unplug the heater when not in use.
** It is only operational and included in the rental from June- September due to seasonal weather. **

Smart House Features
TVs:

All TVs are ROKU-enabled. Remote controls are provided, and you can also use the ROKU mobile app (Wi-Fi required).

Smart Thermostats:
This home has two smart thermostats:
Left Thermostat: Controls the fireplace (heat only)
Right Thermostat: Controls the furnace and air conditioning

Changing Modes:
Tap the symbol at the top center to switch between Heat and Cool modes.

(Note: the fireplace thermostat only supports Heat.)
Adjusting Temperature:
The large number = current room temperature
The smaller number = set temperature (e.g., “18 Holding”)

To change the temperature, tap the large number and use “+” or “–”

The fireplace only turns on if the set temperature is higher than the current room temperature

Kitchen
The kitchen features an induction stovetop.
Only certain pots and pans (provided) will work with induction.
To use:
Press the ON button in the lower right corner.
Select the burner you wish to use.
Adjust the heat level with your finger.

The water is safe to drink. Potable from a drilled well and there is a uv filter attached.

Towels are located in the laundry room, above the washer and dryer.

Outdoor Area
Kayaks are available on the stand by the water. Weather permitting / in season

Each kayak comes with a red emergency kit (bailer, whistle, and rope).

Please ensure all items are present before heading out for your safety.

2 Adult life jackets are provided in the deck box -please bring appropriately sized life jackets for small children.

Hot Tub
Please rinse off before entering and refrain from eating or drinking in the hot tub.
When not in use, ensure the cover is securely fastened with all four clasps — this helps retain heat and maintain cleanliness. If the hot tub is left unreadably dirty (e.g., food, mud, or excessive debris), a $75.00 cleaning fee will apply.


House Rules & Reminders
No parties or smoking inside the property — this will result in eviction and fines depending on event. Cigarette butts left on the property will incur a potential fine.
Do not take boats, firewood, or any belongings from neighbouring properties.
Doing so will result in a $1,000 trespassing fee.

Relax, have fun, and make the most of the lake, games, and peaceful surroundings.

**Private yoga sessions available upon request!
