Experience the essence of laid-back coastal living at Beach Break, a well-maintained, older-style beach house offering all the basic comforts for a relaxing holiday comforts for a relaxing holiday. Ideally located in the heart of the community, this air-conditioned home combines character with convenience for an unforgettable getaway.

Thoughtfully equipped, the home features two air conditioning units—one in the open-plan kitchen and dining area and another in the living room—to keep you cool during warm summer days.

Please note: Linen is not provided. Each bed is fitted with a mattress protector, pillow, pillowcase, quilt, and quilt cover. Guests are kindly asked to bring their own sheets, towels, bath mats, tea towels, washing powder, dish detergent, rubbish bags, soap, toilet paper, and other essentials.

Nestled on sought-after Bay Street, Beach Break offers direct access to the beach via scenic sand dune pathways. Just 500 meters from the local club, 200 meters from the general store, and within walking distance to the campground, everything you need is close at hand.

Perfect for families or two groups traveling together, this spacious property features four large bedrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 9 guests.

A fully equipped kitchen and separate dining room provide ample space for shared meals. The bathroom features a large freestanding bathtub—perfect for a long, indulgent soak.

A secondary living area with a TV, located near the kitchen, creates a dedicated entertainment space for the kids.

Outdoors, the expansive yard offers plenty of parking for cars and boats, along with a secure area for children to play. A sheltered outdoor seating area invites guests to relax and enjoy the sea breeze. Additional storage is available at the rear of the shed, ideal for bikes, surfboards, and holiday gear.

For added convenience, a second toilet is located adjacent to the laundry.

Awful

The location and the off street parking was great, but that is where it ended. The property needs a good clean aswell as a spring clean. There was black mould in the bedroom and mould inside and on top of the fridge. The property sleeps 8 and had 3 winglasses- which were dirty. The fry pans, kitchen utensils were so old and outdated I would not have used any of them. Cupboards jam packed with garbage bags filled with items, torn bed valances and very old, saggy bed mattresses. We had to change accommodation same day as check in as I felt so uncomfortable bringing my small children in to this house. With a little furniture update and a deep clean of this property, as well as a good property cleaner, this house could be great!

Great Location

A neat house in a great location close to the beach and club with a handy 4 bedrooms. The house was clean although some of the furniture could use updating. Outside there is a nice outdoor area but some things are looking a little tired and in need of some basic maintenance, like the shrub at front trimmed, roof and gutters not good and a leaking back tap.

Location and size of property was perfect for five adults.

Cleanliness was an issue. The bbq was FILTHY, we attempted to clean it but the grease build up was so bad that the gas jets we clogged. The smell was horrendous. Great bbq area, with cover and seating but unfortunately we cooked our bbq in the kitchen and ate inside. Plenty of cupboard space in kitchen with excessive pots and pans but nowhere to store condiments etc. A pantry would be good. The loungeroom floor was dirty and dusty especially under seating. That aside, we enjoyed our stay in Hat Head, we always do. Would we go back to this property? Probably not.

Short break at Hat Head

Can't give beach break a 5 star rating for a few reasons.I know it said to supply many things including your own detergent but I didn't think it meant dishwasher tablets so we couldnt use it,the bed was hard and uncomfortable,the ignition on the bbq didn't work and it smelt fatty so we didn't use that either,the toilet must have a drain problem cause it smelt like stale urine and the bathroom door was off it's tracks so it didn't close properly. Being a holiday house it would have been nice to have a few condiments like salt & pepper,oil & sugar,just little things like that would be a nice touch. On leaving the property we were asked to take out the rubbish and wash all dishes which is fair enough but to sweep the floor as well was a bit ridiculous. The best thing was the bath and fantastic water pressure in the shower and also a safe place to park your car and boat. Unfortunately dont think we would stay there again.
