The neighbouring village of Dale with its sheltered harbour at the entrance to the waterway is popular with sailing and watersports enthusiasts alike. With its hire centre, good pub, The Griffin, and cafe, it is popular with visitors year after year. West Dale Beach is also a delight and well worth a visit.
