On the other side of the valley is the village of Luddenden and the glorious oak woodlands that make up Jerusalem Farm, a local nature reserve made famous by TV's In Loving Memory. In fact, this beautiful area has also featured in TV shows Happy Valley and Last Tango in Halifax. Nearby Hebden Bridge is a diverse and bohemian town home to restaurants, bars, bistros, markets, an independent cinema, art galleries, and the picturesque Rochdale Canal. A scenic car ride over the moors takes you to the splendid Parsonage Museum which commemorates the famous Bronte family.
