A little gross and buggy

It was OK. Checked in at the office, the woman was kind and polite. However, there are bugs swarming the lights by the doors each evening and night. If you need a room without them, good luck. There were used toiletries in our room and we had to unplug the air conditioning unit from the wall to make it stop since the “power off” button didn’t work. Check out was fine, there were 2 little girls around 7 years old that checked me out. I kid you not (pun intended). I am waiting to see if it was done properly and if I’ll get my deposit back but we will see.

Love the Jacuzzi room!

My husband and I wanted one of the rooms with a Jacuzzi in it that we saw online and we were able to specifically reserve one of these at a reasonable price. There's a deposit due to the Jacuzzi, but that was fine for us! The bed was comfortable, and check in and out were easy. The agent at the desk mentioned that the owners were redoing the whole hotel so I will be looking forward to seeing the full hotel after the renovation! Although the bird sounds were nice, hopefully they can do something about the nest in the stairwell just outside of our room! Additionally, it would be nice if there were at least two plugs for each side of the bed, with each more easily accessible. The lights took up the top plug on each side. Either way, we will definitely stay here again when we return, even if we don't use the Jacuzzi room next time!

If you come to Helen looking to spending the majority of your time outdoors in the beautiful natural surrounding, or exploring shops, restaurants, and events, etc and you are mostly interested in a hotel with good location that is clean and safe with a nice bed and shower then I highly recommend! I personally loved it here, but my ideal experience is mainly a clean place to sleep with good internet. If you want a spa go elsewhere. Friendly and helpful staff!

It was a good place to stay. A little dated but clean and comfortable. One thing i didn't care for was other guests sitting outside the door. I'm assuming they were sitting outside their door and kind of spilled over in fron of our. But it was a pleasant place to stay. Relatively inexpensive.
