This pretty, modern Scandinavian-style wooden house is just a few steps away from the sandy Baltic Sea beach.



In winter you can cosy up in front of the warm wood-burning stove in the living room, in summer the wonderful terrace with high-quality garden furniture invites you to enjoy unforgettable barbecue evenings with your loved ones.

There is also a small garden shed in the hedge-fenced garden. In the cooler months, you can make yourself comfortable with your family in the living room for a DVD evening and watch a few films.



From the large bedroom on the 1st floor you have access to the balcony, where you can always find a place to sunbathe. From here you can not only enjoy the Baltic Sea air, but also let your gaze wander over the hustle and bustle of the holiday home village. Downstairs on the ground floor, you will find a cosy living area with floor-to-ceiling windows and a modern bathroom with your own private sauna, where you can warm up after a long walk on the beach. A dream holiday at any time of year.



The Süssau beach is a long natural beach, most of which is also open to dogs.



For anglers, Süssauer Strand offers a unique stretch of sea trout.



And should the weather not play along, the surrounding area offers many worthwhile excursion destinations: the Baltic Sea spa Großenbrode, the Schleswig-Holstein Lake District, the Hansapark in Sierksdorf and the island of Fehmarn with a shark and marine centre, a donkey park and 'Noah's Ark'. Denmark is also just a stone's throw away.

Urlaub mit Kind und Hund

Das Haus liegt in einer schönen ruhigen Ferienhaus Siedlung. Es gibt einen schönen Spielplatz und man ist in wenigen Metern am Meer. Für Hundebesitzer gibt es gleich um die Ecke einen Hundestrand. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, man hat alles was man braucht. Leider ist der Wohnbereich und auch das Bad recht klein. Das sieht auf den Fotos etwas großzügiger aus. Wir hatten die Fahrräder mit, diese konnten wir in einem Schuppen im Garten unterstellen und einschließen. Der Garten ist eingezäunt, was für Familien mit Hund sehr schön ist. Im großen und Ganzen eine tolle und saubere Unterkunft, lediglich der Pflegezustand des Hauses im allgemeinen könnte etwas besser sein. In der Küche ging die Hälfte der Beleuchtung nicht, die Terassentür klemmt und auch dort ging keine Außenbeleuchtung. Das Dachfenster im Bad ist elektrisch mit einer Fernbedienung zu öffnen, jedoch ist der Motor einfach zu Schwach dafür und das Fenster könnte etwas Pflege vertragen. An der Terasse und auch am Balkon könnte man sich mal wieder um das Holz kümmern.

Kein zweites mal

Wir kommen schon viele Jahre an die Ostsee, aber so etwas kennen wir nicht. Die Strandpromenade ist in einem desolaten Zustand und nicht komplett begehbar. Der Hundestrand ist voller Steine, sodass gerade ältere Hunde sich beim wackeligen Gang ins Wasser verletzen können. Unsere Hündin hatte bereits einen Kreuzbandriss und dieser Strand war für sie ungeeignet. Wir sind dann immer bis Dahme. Dort ist es wirklich sehr schön für Mensch und Hund. Das Ferienhaus war nicht besonders sauber. Das Sofa sehr klein und unbequem. Als Familie findet man dort keinen Platz. Die Betten und Matratzen waren gut. Es mangelt allerdings an einen Besen und einen vernünftigen Wischmopp. Wir werden uns für kommendes Jahr ein anderes Ferienhaus suchen.
