The Akama Resort is a high quality apartment resort. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean, with all you would need for a great family stay. The location is perfect for whale watching trips as it is only a 5 minute walk to Hervey Bay marina. There are several good quality restaurants and bars nearby.

We were there for my son's wedding and loved the property. Lots of room and lovely. only part was carrying all our luggage down 4 flights of stairs as we left on the flood bound Sunday.
