The ground floor apartment consists of two double bedrooms, a spacious kitchen and a living room. In each bedroom there are wardrobes. There is one double bed in one room and two single beds in the other room. These can also be separated. Also on request a guest bed or a cot can be built. The kitchen is equipped with oven, ceramic hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Also almost all kitchen appliances are available. (Coffee maker, toaster, kettle, Senseo, egg cooker). On the sofa and the 4 chairs there is room for the whole family. On the flat screen TV with satellite.In each case in the kitchen and in the living room a separate program can be looked at. In the living room invites a comfortable sofa set to relax. The newly renovated bathroom has a walk-in shower. There is a separate toilet.  Outside there is a terrace with garden furniture, barbecue, parasol and a covered conservatory. In the back house is also a washing machine which can be used for a fee reimbursement available. The large garden area is limited to the street by a high hedge and is not visible. Here you can enjoy the peace on the garden chairs or even deliver a match at the table tennis table. There are also a slide and a swing for the children. Also around the house is plenty of space to linger. The apartment has a separate entrance. For your bikes there is a lockable garage.


The apartments are located in Hesel-Neuemoor in the heart of Ostfriesland in a quiet, rural location. It is also not far to the next cities Leer (17km) and Aurich (20km). Both cities have a beautiful old town with pedestrian areas that invite you to stroll and shop. The nearest towns are Hesel (4.5km), Bagband (2.2km), Remels (12km) and Wiesmoor (14.5km).  Here there are all shops and extensive gastronomy, as well as various cultural offers. Among other things, an archaeological exhibition and a brewery with beer museum. The nearest bakery is located in the neighboring village of Firrel and is 1.8km away. Everything is baked here and there are regional specialties. Directly from the house many bike rides or walks can be started on the very well-developed cycling and hiking trails. These lead also in the 1,5km distant Heseler forest. This is the largest contiguous forest area in East Frisia. Here you can make many discoveries on extensive forest trails, z. For example, the archeological site of the former monastery, the Silver Lake, a tree nature trail and a forest adventure playground. But also the tranquility and versatile flora and fauna invite you to linger. With the bike beautiful tours can be made in the wider environment. Again, there are many interesting and varied destinations, such as .. B. a crank ferry with which you can translate yourself by hand from one to the other shore. In Loga (15km) you will find the Pünte. The oldest still hand-operated inland ferry of Northern Europe over the river Jümme. Also many windmills in the area are to be visited. Fresh milk products, coffee and cakes are served on Sundays at the Melkhuskes along the cycle paths. In Wiesmoor, a museum vividly tells the story of the origins of the East Frisian Fehn landscape and the cultivation of moors. In the neighboring Timmel (11km) there is a beautiful lake with boat harbor and many other recreational activities. Many rivers, canals and lakes can also be used by fishing enthusiasts.

There are also interesting events spread over the year. Some examples are: A big fair in Leer (mid-October), the summer festival on Gut Stikelkamp, the touring skipper meeting in the port of Leer, the ship overpasses of the luxury liner Meyer Werft and the varied spring and autumn markets in the surrounding towns.

Even for those who are drawn to the coast, the central location is an advantage, because all East Frisian coastal towns can be reached from here in about 1 hour by car.

Erholung pur

Eine ruhige Umgebung, allerdings Ausflügen, Einkäufe nur mit Auto möglich. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hätte es die vielen Stechmücken nicht gegeben, die es auf uns abgesehen hatten, wäre es perfekt gewesen. Ich kann die Wohnung sehr empfehlen, Küche ist perfekt eingerichtet, der große Garten ist toll, wir waren rundum zufrieden.
