We had a wonderful stay in Cashiers! The house was great and Jon was wonderful with helping us with accommodations when we needed to extend our stay. The house is great for a large group and we all had plenty of room. It's a quick drive into town and not far from The Highlands. Would highly recommend!

Great stay at Oscars retreat

Fantastic home, great place for the entire family. We loved the layout with plenty of room for everyone to spread out or gather together at the kitchen table. The deck is a perfect place to have morning coffee and enjoy the view. Location is convenient to all the amenities at Sapphire Valley resort. Communication with owner was great. We look forward to coming again next summer!

Fantastic cabin in Sapphire!

This cabin was PERFECT for our family vacation week! It is SO SPACIOUS and had all the amenities we were looking for. The arrangement of the bedrooms on the three floors was exactly what we needed for the families that we were traveling with. Our questions to the cabin contact person were answered quickly. Would love to come back! :)

Surprise Party

The house was perfect for our family. Only couple of issues were the door key pad didn’t work. Had to call the property manager and he gave us a different number but that didn’t work every time. The fire place didn’t work. The pictures showed a pool table and hot tub and neither one was there. The floors were very slippery.

Good but couple issues

Beautiful cabin and great layout. Guest sleeping was perfect for our family. Lower level had wet spot on the floor and smelled musty/moldy. The master bed had a mattress topper that didn’t work for us. The recliner in the master bedroom which was the sleeping back up was old and uncomfortable. The leather sofas and chairs in the main seating area were totally worn and uncomfortable. The pool table pictured in the listing did not exist. We checked out two days early forfeiting the cost.

Beautiful cabin

Perfect and very well stocked with all essentials. We really missed not having holiday decorations. This was our family holiday celebration and had assumed it would be decorated for Christmas. Very sad. Everything else was excellent.

Pretty cabin in a nice quiet neighborhood. Large enough for our family of 11. Kid and dog friendly. Comfy beds, large decks, everything you need to be comfortable and have a nice time. Property owner and local manager very nice and easy to work with.

Great modern mountain cabin

This beautiful mountain home was a nice as advertised. Very comfortable and great layout. Home was extremely clean and beds were very comfortable. The kitchen has anything we needed for cooking. You can tell the owner pays close attention to making the home current. No complaints and we would stay here again.

Everything about the house was wonderful. It's hard to find a mountain house reasonably priced with plenty of seating for the whole group to be in the same room at the same time, but this property had even more than we needed for the six of us. We plan to stay again next year.

Superb Sapphire Valley

The most well stocked rental we have ever stayed in. The house has absolutely EVERYTHING a family could need. Tons of toys for the kids, kiddie gates everywhere to keep the one year old safe. The house had 3 pack and plays, we only needed one. However, they did not have a highchair, but just a booster. Close to the resort and Cashiers for the grocery store and shopping. Would stay here again!

Great Getaway!

Loved this huge cabin in the Sapphire area. It was spacious and roomy along with a great homey feel. We loved the dining room/fireplace combo with the living room--plenty of space to spread out but also be among the group! The only thing that it lacked was an extra refrigerator for a group that size over a holiday week.

Oscars Retreat is a great house!

Oscars Retreat is a large well designed house in Sapphire NC close to all Sapphire Amenities and to Cashier's and to Highlands. It is well equipped and all systems function very well. The linens are very nice. The owner and property manager were very quick to respond to any questions or issues We had a great time.!

Mountain Retreat

We loved the large dining area with the large table, it is perfect for games as well as the meals. The living room with the large couches were very comfortable. The bedrooms were very spacious. The kids loved the pool and air hockey tables downstairs, it kept them very entertained. Very spacious and accommodating, we will definitely be renting again. My only suggestions would be bigger cookware, an additional small refrigerator downstairs, and the actual address of the amenities building in the paperwork. We hope to stay longer next time to really enjoy the grill and fire pit.

Great location in Sapphire! Quite and very roomy! This house is great for families or couples!

Renting the property was easy and accommodating. The house is beautiful! A very well equipped kitchen and lovely master on main with separate tub and shower. High ceilings in the living room and dining room with large screen TV for movies or sports! The basement is great with mini pool table and air hockey for extra entertainment. It also has another king bedroom with bath and another bedroom for the kids with 3 twin beds. Upstairs there is a queen bed and anther bedroom with twin beds! A perfect house for couples with children or for a large family. Location is great and quiet. Also if you have young children there is a pack and play and high chair. Also gates for the stairs. Can’t say enough about this great house. We will be back’. Thank you Jon and Chrissy

Great spot for Sapphire

This is a large home perfect for the entire family and just a few minutes drive from the different trails and amenities that are offered in the area. Would recommend anyone staying in the area to book their lodging here
