Fun family time

We stayed there for a short time to explore hill city with the family and it was everything we expected and more. It was big enough to accommodate our family of 12 plus more if it was needed. The cabin itself was very beautiful and I loved how the kids could go see the horses on the property and take pictures with them. Check in was really easy and the owner was very accommodating. However the only little tedious thing was we didn’t find a can opener amongst a few other smaller items and the pans provided burned all out pancakes :( but as long as you’re prepared I’m sure you can make it work. Would definitely recommend to everyone nonetheless!

Perfect cabin for large families!

Our stay was great! The location was perfect- centrally located to all the awesome things to do in the area. The cabin was clean, spacious, and the perfect layout for large families with kids! The hot tub was a crowd pleaser for everyone. Matt was wonderful during check-in, and called the day before to touch base prior to our arrival! We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to visiting again!

Family Christmas 2024

The home was exactly what our family needed. Plenty of room for us all to spread out or gather in the living room. The hot tub was a great added bonus. The host had excellent responsiveness!! We hope to be back next year.

Clean and spacious cabin

We had our family Christmas here. Cabin was clean and spacious for 20 people. Kitchen was well equipped. Beautiful scenery. Matt was a great host making sure we had everything we needed.

Trail Riding Trip

Side x side gettaway

What a great experience,lodge was just as advertised. Perfect out of town location,6 couples,6 trucks & trailers,for 3 days we did trails & explored the area. The lodge was very clean,well maintained,we are all retired and so appreciate everything this property had to offer. We all agreed that if we come back to this area we would stay here again. Great multi-generational stay!

We had a wonderful time staying here. The property was gorgeous and clean, great space for our large families, and the kids loved having horses right next to the house to pet and eventually ride at High Country! It took a while for the hot tub to warm up the first night and the WiFi was slower due to the location of the home, but we loved our stay regardless! Matthew was very friendly and accommodating the whole time. We wished we would have had more time to spend at the VRBO rather than our and about even! Would stay again!

Great House!

Great house with great location! Our kiddos loved watching the horses run by everyday and even graze behind the house. We also loved the location right on the Mickelson Trail as we rode our bikes everyday.

Nothing short of perfect!

The cabin was wonderful! Matthew did a top tier job of checking on us to make sure we had what we needed. You can’t beat this scenery either- who doesn’t love country, beautiful sunrise and sunsets, and horses! Location was great to Mt. Rushmore, Sheridan Lake, Cosmos and Rushmore adventure park. Also, just a quick drive to the grocery store: We will definitely stay again!

Weekend Getaway

We had a weekend wrestling tournament in Custer. We found this cabin last minute that would fit all of us together! It was awesome! Great location, clean, everything we needed. And Matthew popped in when we arrived and gave us the run down on everything! He was so nice!

Everything about the stay was top notch! Matthew was incredibly friendly and accomodating. The location was beautiful. Nestled in a small valley with a horse farm on one end so we could see horses running behind the house daily. Bonus. House was well equipped with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again!!
