Escape to the ultimate Black Hills retreat at our spacious house, located less than one mile from the charming town of Hill City. Nestled in the heart of nature, this large house offers a serene setting with expansive grounds for hiking and fishing right at your doorstep.

With 3 levels of living space, this house comfortably accommodates up to 20 guests, making it perfect for large families or groups. The main floor boasts a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, and a dining area for everyone to gather and share meals together.

But that's not all! This house also features a second kitchen on the lower level, ensuring ample space for meal preparations and entertaining. The outdoor kitchen provides an additional option for cooking up delicious meals while enjoying the fresh mountain air.

After a day of exploring the beautiful surroundings, unwind in the hot tub or soak up the sun on the expansive deck area, where you can relax, chat, and admire the panoramic views of the Black Hills.

The location of this house offers the best of both worlds: a peaceful retreat immersed in nature, yet conveniently close to Hill City. Experience the town's unique shops, galleries, and restaurants, or hop on the historic 1880 Train for a scenic ride through the picturesque landscape.

While our home may not have central air conditioning throughout the whole home we do have air conditioning in the top level and the master bedroom. In addition we have a whole home fan system. Located on the top floor, we have a large fan that, when activated, rapidly exchanges the indoor air with fresh air from outside. This natural ventilation system provides a refreshing and cool breeze throughout the house, simulating the effects of air conditioning. You'll enjoy the benefits of fresh air while experiencing a comfortable temperature indoors. Please note that the fan is operated manually, allowing you to control when you want to enjoy the cooling effect.

Embrace the beauty of the Black Hills and create unforgettable memories at this spacious retreat. With its abundant amenities, stunning location, and the ability to host events, this house is the perfect destination for your next vacation or special gathering.
During your stay at this cabin, you're just a quick walk from Civilian Conservation Corps Museum. Laundry facilities are available. A kitchen and 3.5 bathrooms are available in the cabin.

Our stay at this home was great. The house was so nice and clean. We had plenty of room for 20 of us. Our grandkids loved the hot tub and loved running around outside. It is close to all the parks in the area too. The kitchen and the huge bar were awesome, made our meals so much easier. We would highly recommend this house!! Great place!!!!

Tenneboe Tribe Trip to the Black Hills

We absolutely had a blast! We had 20 people from 3 mos old to 78! Saw all the sights. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Lake Sylvia & Custer State Psrk! Even Devils Tower, Falls in Spearfish, Badlands, Caves ! Last day.. Grand Finale….ATV ing the trails near Hill City! I’m totally worn out! We Really enjoyed the house! Worked perfectly for ALL of us! Thank You So Much!

Perfect for a family reunion

This property was perfect for our 50th wedding anniversary/family reunion. It has plenty of room and the kitchen/dining and common areas are enormous with room for all to gather for meals and games. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to feed a large group. The location is handy for visiting all of the major sights in the Black Hills while still being private on a scenic lot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only negative was the trash cans on the patio and the garage had not been emptied when we arrived, so we were obliged to take care of that. Not a big deal but I mention it so that it can be added to your cleaning list.

The home provided the space we needed for our family to stay in one place for our daughter's wedding which was nice. The cleanliness and upkeep of the home did not match the premium price we paid for a summer rental in the Black Hills. One shower did not work, the decks and garage had not been swept in a long time, the floors were dirty and master closet was filthy and cluttered with tools and construction debris. We spent over 7500 for a 4 day weekend and were disappointed by the standard of clean and overall maintenance of the home.

Great family vacation

Very nice and spacious house. Quiet neighborhood. No problems with anything except wi-fi quit 1 time but got it running again. We stayed in August during a very hot week. The house cooled down nice overnight but was hot during the day. AC in bedrooms but didn't cool the room down. The host answered my questions very quickly. Would highly recommend.

Family Getaway

This property is perfect for families. We had a variety of ages and the home allowed for all of us to have some privacy and yet be able to enjoy our time al together. It is a quiet and beautiful location. We enjoyed watching the deer in the mornings and evenings. It is close to Hill City and the surrounding attractions. We would stay here again when in the area.

Hidden gem! This place is more than advertised. We will be back!

This place is a hidden gem! It allows you to enjoy the Black Hills all day on the wrap around deck. It's well shaded and super comfortable. There is plenty of room in the kitchen and for suppers we used the outdoor cooking areas. Just a 1/2 mile from a grocery store and town yet tucked into the hills. We could all spread out for privacy or there was plenty of room when we wanted to be together. The managers were great and made sure we knew how to run the air exchange system to keep it cool and bring the fresh black hills air inside!
