PLEASE beware. I have stayed at this location for many years, even when it was called the Park Lane. Recently, I took my elderly mother there for Thanksgiving. I was astounded at the poor and abusive service I received upon attempting to check in. Upon arrival, I was told I couldn't use my particular credit card to put on file for the security deposit. I had not been informed of this prior to my arrival, even though the desk vocally insisted I had. I pulled up the reservation email with no details about the credit card. At that point, it turned really sour since they were telling me one thing and I had black and white proof that I received different information. I later checked with the credit card and they don't know what the hotel was talking about. The manager escalated this to the point that she denied my reservation and kept a portion of my money without telling me. I think this is stealing and want to let others know to watch out and beware of this establishment. I have contacted them three times asking for explanation, policies, and a refund. I'd like to know why my prepaid reservation was denied and why the manager felt like she could keep a portion of my money without informing me. To date, I have heard nothing from them and am still out the money. This was once a home away from home. Now, I urge you to be wary of this place and find another place to stay. Let my experience be a lesson to you.
