Fine stay but crowded breakfast area

We just stayed for a night, everything was fine. The only downside was the breakfast was mediocre and was very crowded so we ended up having to eat in our room which isn't easy to do with younger kids.

The room was clean and in good condition, bathroom appeared recently renovated. The breakfast was basic but there were good of options (eggs, sausage, muffins, waffles, cereal, yogurt, toast, coffee/juice). It was easy to park and the check in/out process was fast. Our only complaint was that the room smelled musty.

Odour in rooms and hallway

The halls smelled bad, the room was worse. Someone might have been cooking in the room and when we arrived it had not been aired out. The odour permeated the building. They quickly gave a another room which was somewhat better. Soft beds and old worn sheets.

The shower was good, lots of hot water and pressure, bathroom was clean. Door had to be forced to close. Was not provided with Internet access information. Breakfast room was small, unfriendly staff and guests, hot food was not fresh. Coffee was hot but undrinkable. We would not stay again.
