The convenience of this hotel right at the station was awesome. The facilities were great, the room was clean, the views from the room were amazing. The breakfast was awesome, huge selection and very tasty.

Beautiful new hotel in a fabulous location above the new South Gate Station Kyoto. Spacious room for a fair price. The rooms facing the downtown area was a delightful view at night. Excellent location for transportation, shopping and food. The restaurant had the sweetest staff. We adored Yuri and how attentive she was to ensure every need was met while dining. There is complementary coffee in the restaurant in the morning which was a wonderful touch in the morning. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Transit Hotel

We didn't fully understand until we got here that this is a transit hotel — a very new (but very expensive) one. Rooms are small, even for Japan, and the breakfast experience felt more like a school cafeteria. If you can get a deal it might be convenient for a night; for anything more than that, the older Granvia near the north gate would be a better bet.

Brand new property above Hiroshima train station. The train station is new and full of stores and restaurants. The hotel staff are very attentive. Next time I’m in Hiroshima I will return to this hotel.

Hotel was difficult to find. it is located within the busy train terminal which also contains a major shopping mall. do not confuse the Hotel Granvia with the Hotel Granvia SOUTH GATE. they are on opposite sides of the terminal. ongoing construction in the area also adds to the confusion.

Hotel Granvia in Hiroshima is by far the best hotel we've stayed in Japan. It's right there at the train station and the shopping mall. Lot's of dining too in the mall, you don't need to go far to dine. Hotel Granvia is a new hotel and I guess we're one of the lucky ones who get's to stay first in this very new hotel. The staffs are very friendly and you can checkin or check out by yourself through their self checkin machine. Highly recommended.

It was a brand new hotel right inside the station, so in that regard thumbs up. But the room was tiny, and really only suitable for a single traveller
