Pillows are terribly uncomfortable. No washclothes in the bathrooms. Tvs have very limited channels. Hotel is starting to show signs of wear.

- big room for Japan, nice beds, pillows, etc. - Tokens for drinks and snacks was a great touch - Close to peace park which was great - Water and amenities were nice - Staff were great, we had some trouble with our luggage (not their fault or to do with them at all) and they were extremely helpful with this! - Restaurant downstairs was really good as well - My sister loved the pjs here.

Comfortable and convenient

Overall about the room, great. Clean and comfortable. It’s bit inconvenient if you forget your toothbrush or need a quick coffee, you need to get them from reception as they not in the room. If you need room made, they charge you ¥3300/service. Breakfast not thrilled as not Japanese breakfast. Bit disappointed with this. Afternoon drink on the rooftop is great. The view magnificent over few drinks. But the music is more like for early 20ish age. Not relaxing atmospheres or maybe I am too old. The overall place is very closed to peace memorial park.

The hotel was conceniently close to the Memorial Museum & Park as well as the speed boat dock for day trips to Miyajima. The hotel serves a good breakfast and there are good dining choices nearby.

I never stayed at the Knot, and NEVER will. Yes, I did book a non-refundable room, but realized within minutes after booking that the website had reserved the wrong date. in spite of immediately contacting the booking agent AND the hotel, they would not reverse the room charge. I did not make it to Japan in the two days between my booking and my reservation, so could not check in. Such incosiderate customer service will be rewarded by my never staying at the Knot again - in ANY of the four cities where they operate. There are many choices in lodging, and life is too short to put up with treatment like this.

The view from the top floor (which is their check-in lobby) was awesome! Walkable to an outdoor shopping area, as well as to the Peace Museum. You also receive coins at check-in to redeem for snacks and drinks during their afternoon/evening hours. They also had a coin laundry facility on the 2nd floor. Lovely area!
