Great value in district 1

Great value and really good location, very close to the market in district 1. We had a deluxe twin room, no window but we didn't spend much time in there. Would highly recommend the restaurant opposite, think it was called Huong - had a spectacular meal there. The market is mainly tourist tat and felt quite pressured from the stall owners.

Once again like a month ago my experience at California hotel was a nightmare. See my last review,! Upon arrival after paying with Expedia I was told the hotel was full!, I was moved to an awful dirty "hotel" across the street. Inexcusable behaviour by the hotel and staff.

This hotel is centrally located in district 1 which is where you want to be in the downtown area here. The staff are very friendly, checking in was a breeze all of the staff are attentive to our needs and thoughtful as well. Nam is the friendliest staff there! Good job Nam! The Ben Thanh market is a 3 minute walk from the hotel and the choices for food in the area are in abundance. The room is very comfortable. The only thing I would have to recommend for the room is that the safety deposit box should be bolted down to a wall or structure… It was free moving so if I locked anything in the safety deposit box, somebody could still just lift it up and walk away with it. Also, the room that we had… There are no windows, which is a bit claustrophobic at first, but thankfully, the air conditioner works like a dream. There is hot water for the faucet, but there was no warm water for the shower at all. There is a complimentary breakfast buffet every morning for anyone staying there… Everything from local cuisine to pancakes and toast; I can even make fresh omelette based on how you want it. The rooftop pool is a nice bonus. The cushions on the rooftop on the chairs are all stained with sweat or sunblock, which is a bit un-appealing to want to sit on. Despite some of the shortcomings, I would still highly recommend this place because of the service and location. Bed is really comfortable too! Does it sound like like putting down the place with Ask for Nam - he is the best ever!

They put me in a room next to a building that was being renovated, so the noises were unbearable. The room look like it was designed in the 70s, the carpet was old and dirty, bath room is small and moldy.

sub standard hotel my first room was disturbed by awful noise until 10pm then started again at 6.30 am. Opened my window to discover I was looking at the gym close up! Unbelievable the moved to a room 7th floor which had NO WiFi in this day and age I wasn't told about. Hotel needs a big modernization tho staff were really nice

Il y a de tapis partout dans l’hôtel , ma chambre est toujours humide, les serviettes de bain, draps, oreillers, couvertures sont permanents humides. Nous avons loué 2 chambres et nous avons de la misère de rester et dormir dans les chambres car l’humidité nous empêche de respirer comme il le faut. Les personnels sont très aimable, polie. Merci à messieurs Huy et Nam à la réception ( portique). Très gentil, courtoisie, aimable, surtout un très grand merci à monsieur NAM. Il s’occupe très bien de nous, prêté ses masques personnels à mon conjoint car il a de la grippe, quand on est dans la salle à manger ou lobby pour jouer aux cartes, monsieur NAM surveille et s’ajoute de l’air climatisé pour s’assurer qu’on soit toujours bien , nous ouvrir toujours la porte d’entrée quand on partait ou arrivait avec son plus grand sourire. Merci aussi à l’équipe dans la salle à manger et la dame de ménage de nos chambres.

The hotel is very nice. Its a bit old, with the furnishings inside. There's a coffee maker, safe in the room. The king bed was vey comfortable. The pool is great for cooling off. Lots of areas to lounge around. The hot tub isnt hot - same temp as the pool. Theres a dry sauna which is very nice. The restaurant was only doing breakfasts. Nothing fancy. They do have an omlet station. Its in a great location. The famous marketplace is in viewing distance drom the hotel. There are parks and museums within walking distance too. Id stay there again. Reasonable prices for the stay.

The staffs were so friendly, helpful breakfast buffet is good enough for a price. I had a chance to met the owner of the hotels. She was friendly and very normal people. I will prefer this hotel to my friends
