The hotel is extremely clean, well maintained, quiet and comfortable - while being at the centre of district 1. But the highlight are the staff that make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive - whether that’s by greeting in front of the hotel and helping with luggage or taking care to show around the amenities of the room. It’s a huge accomplishment for the staff to be available and attentive at a compact yet busy facility like this one. Kelly has been a particular star who went above and beyond in helping me navigate a food poisoning I acquired when eating out - including even making a booking at a local clinic and the best raw ginger tea I’ve had in my life.

The room was very clean and cleverly organized. All of the staff from the door people to the cleaning personnel to the front desk and restaurant servers were so friendly, patient and ready to help when needed: ie Excellent customer service. Grand du Lac Boutique Hotel is a perfect choice for anyone looking for comfort, style, and exceptional service. This is our fourth time staying at this hotel. The reason we keep coming back is the people who work here-they feel like family. They treat us like family, especially Kati. She is such a wonderful lady who always goes above and beyond to help us, even when it is no longer part of her job. We truly enjoyed our stay, and this will be our home whenever we come back to Saigon, hopefully next year. Great hotel in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City! It’s a pretty new hotel so it is extremely modern, clean, and very comfortable! The staff go out of the way to support you and make you feel like you’re at home. The breakfast Buffett had a ton of options and it was delicious. Rooms were well sized and super comfortable. Staff was wonderful. We had to leave at 4am to go to the airport and they prepared a nice breakfast to go for us and also gave us a nice tote bag as a gift. The building is not as nice as the Grand Hotel du Lac in Hanoi but staff and breakfast were both fabulous.

Grand Hotel Du Lac is an amazing place to stay and very convenient. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I highly recommend staying here. The staff were amazing and incredibly helpful. Kati Ng is specially helpful and always goes out of her way to help us out booking our activities she even brought us Pomelo after finding out that we love fruits- she is such a lovely lady. It is our 3rd time staying at tbis hotel. We keep because the staff is genuinely cares about their guest.
