The hotel staff were very nice. The hotel was clean. Because the location is right in front of a busy road you have to get your bearings in which way to walk in order to not feel like it’s not walkable. You can walk thru the back entrance to reach opera house and Nguyen hue street, you can also make a right or left to get into other areas that have more local eateries. First impressions was not easy to walk but after a couple of days we figured out the directions. Just walk instead of taking car during busy rush hour times.

Property lobbies, pool, restaurants are nice but the rooms are dated. I picked this bc I recently stayed in a Lotte in Seoul and it was great. This was a significant step down. Staff is an issue. After checkin, we called bc our room was warm. A woman from the desk and two maintenance guys responded promptly, but couldn’t get the temp down. The next morning we raised the issue again, which prompted another maintenance visit, but at least they got the AC to work. Then there was a hilarious discussion which took three staff to answer the question “how long does it take a taxi to drive to the airport?”Finally at checkout, clerk “Vision” seemed insulted that I wanted to check the detail on my statement and quite put out that I wanted to split the payment between my remaining dong and a CC. Past its prime and not worth the price. Won’t return.
