We contacted the host early that morning, told them that we will be there at 2 pm to check in. They did not show up at 2 pm, we waited outside for 30 minutes and keep asking them. The one bedroom studio was offered online that can sleep up to 4. We have three people, no way we can fit in that space. So I have to pay another 1 million VND for each night to upgrade to two bedrooms apartment. Finally we got to check in around 3:30 pm. The room is not well maintained. Signs of mold in various spots in the bathroom. No instructions for using equipment in the apartment, ended up we took cold shower for two night before we found out there is a switch outside the balcony where the laundry washing machine at. Overall, bad communication and bad host. Do not recommend.

Had my booking cancelled just a couple of hours before check-in, which is incredibly stressful when you’re already on the way. The hotel said it was due to “urgent maintenance”, but straight after cancelling me, they were still advertising the same room online for a higher price. That doesn’t add up. What made it worse was Wotif being completely useless. No real help, no solution, no effort to sort alternative accommodation Last-minute cancellations like this are not okay, especially when it looks like the room was just resold for more money. I wouldn’t trust this hotel, and I’m pretty disappointed with Wotif as well.

This hotel is a scam.I booked and paid my rooms 4 months before my arrival and the host sent me a notice 2 days before I arrived to HCM. This is the message I got from host "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Due to technical issues, the hotel is currently undergoing repairs and maintenance, which are expected to continue until the end of next year. Therefore, we are unable to accommodate guests during this period. For reservations that have already been made, we kindly ask you to contact the booking platform where your reservation was placed in order to request a refund in accordance with their policy. Thank you very much for your understanding. " The real reason why the host cancelled my res was probably that they could rent to someone at a higher price at the last minute. Please be careful with this aparthotel company. Expedia needs to take full responsibility for this cancellation. Expedia hasn't refunded me yet. I spent numerous times chatting with Expedia, and they all said they had reported this case but so far nothing is done.
