Great location and lovely staff. Clean hotel. I had a nice 4 week stay here. Standard room is quite small so next time i would book a larger room. Certainly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful Stay with Great Service! I booked two rooms with a friend and requested that we be placed on the same floor. The hotel went above and beyond by upgrading one of the rooms free of charge just to accommodate our request! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always checking in to see if we needed anything else to make our stay more comfortable. The hotel is clean, and the location is lively. If you're a traveler looking for nightlife and a vibrant city lifestyle, this is the place to be! I 100% recommend it — especially for #solotraveler. Truly impressed by their hospitality — I would definitely stay here again!

I enjoyed my stay at the Rice Hotel very much! The staff were extremely kind and helpful and the breakfast menu was quite expansive and tasty! I would like especially thank Ms. Peony, who is a great Hotel Manager there, for accommodating me with a lovely room. My room was very clean and spacious. I have to say that my short stay in Vietnam and wonderful people there want me to go back there again soon. I’ll make sure to definitely book with the same hotel again next time I travel to Vietnam!

The room was ok but very basic looking. Not a big fan of the shower being very close to the toilet. They would only provide very small bottles of shower gel. When I asked for more they only gave one more. They tried to give a reason why only one but due to language barrier I couldn't understand. The breakfast was tasty but it only consisted of one meal and one drink (not good if you need lots of caffeine in the morning). Much prefer a buffet. No views of the city. The staff were nice and I paid a little extra to check out at 6pm which was very helpful. The main reason to stay here is the location. It has many bars, restaurants and shops very close by.

Very budget friendly and good location

If budget is important The Rice Hotel is a good choice. Staff is great, food is good and room is clean and comfortable. It does need a face lift but considering all my 3 night stay was very good.

Honestly if you’re looking for something inexpensive and right in the action here you go. The rice hotel is has everything you need for a great price. The room is roomy, bed is comfy, bathroom has hot water, and also the air conditioning works fine. It doesn’t have an elevator, the room is kinda dated, there’s no full length mirror and bathroom doesn’t have much light. If you want to live a bit like the locals this is the hotel for you.

Lovely place to stay and it was very central. That said, because it was so central to the nightlife you could also hear the street life until late. Overall I would recommend staying here but just be aware of the noise late at night.

The Fo e whites was very efficient accomodating and affordable for a large family of adults. We had 2 rooms and they managed to accommodate putting us on the same floor and let us check out late for absolutely nothing. A bit outdated but very clean and housekeeping everyday. They don’t have a lift but they will take your luggage up with you and this was no inconvenience with 5 large suitcases so don’t let it put you of. It’s right in the heart of everything and very convenient and safe for young adults to walk around at night. Also managed to get a piercing and a couple of small tattoos while visiting. Fantastic area to base yourself and Grab transport car/bikes are ridiculously cheap. I suggest while in Vietnam you also get yourself a local Esim(IPhone 12 and higher only) and for 10 days we laid 12 AUD which is so cheap and the reception in villages was amazing. We were originally data roaming internationally with service providers back home for ridiculous amount and swapped half way in as other kids got them and we had no reception and had to hotspot of their ESIM. The tour place basically next door to The Rice hotel will set up and supply them and also have fantastically priced tours. We had an amazing tour guide and a great time to Mekong Delta cruise. Enjoy your stay here as well worth it and would stay again.

Staff was really helpful and large clean room. People have commented on the lack of elevator already (there is one for luggage). It is adjacent to a very busy, touristy street, crowded until late in the night. So if you are looking to sleep early, go somewhere else or bring ear plugs. As an FYI, breakfast is 50 meters away (no big deal) and takes ~30 minutes between ordering and eating so factor that in if you have a tour scheduled.

Be aware... NO ELEVATOR. Also... there are maybe three locations for this "hotel". We originally arrived at the one Google sent us to. But then we were directed to another building about 2 blocks away. Breakfast is served at a nearby restaurant (I think also operated by the hotel)... but is not available inside the hotel building, even though they do have a restaurant in the hotel.
