It was a great property and it is located in an area where you can walk to all the main attractions in the city. The pool bar is fantastic and a lot of fun after a busy day sight seeing. Recommend this property.

This was a perfect spot for us, within walking distance of multiple eateries, Ben Thanh market, Central market, Saigon Square, spa places, Viên Bue party street. The hotel was clean, spacious rooms, nice little rooftop spa pool and a decent breakfast buffet. We stayed 7 days and are very happy with our choice.

I was put in room 206. This room doesn’t have a window. The room itself is fine, pretty standard. The issue is there is 0 sound proofing. Right below floor 2 is M. Which is where they serve breakfast. Breakfast starts at 6:30, which means noise starts around 5-530am. I could hear so much happening and chairs being dragged (was that upstairs or downstairs, I have no idea). Doorbell next to my room would ring and it sounds like it’s for my room. The hotel is right across the street from the train station/park and it’s very lively. You will hear noise coming through at night. I tried to sleep in from my restless night but they started to drill and construction during the day. There’s just 0 sound proofing. I didn’t get good rest here. Even if you used something to try to block out the noise you could physically feel it. I would not pay this kind of money and stay here again. There’s better locations that will be more restful. Oh also, your cellphone reception doesn’t work in the room. You’re somehow in a dead zone. I had to rely on their wifi which also wasn’t great. It kept cutting in/out. I thought about complaining but for 3 nights it just wasn’t worth it. I won’t be back.

Upon arrival, at the correct check in time, I was told my room was not ready. I was escorted to tea time and told my room should be ready in 30 mins or less & that I would he informed when my room was ready. After an hour and a bit I finally went to reception myself & was told my room had been ready for a while. Room was very small and very expensive & was dirty: Stains on the duvet, marks on the mirrors, food smeared on the menu. There was also damage on the walls & the room service was very very expensive for Vietnam. A piece of my clothing was lost when they cleaned it. Friends of mine that were staying at the same time as myself paid not much more than myself & their room was much nicer. This was the most expensive hotel Ive stayed at in Vietnam & it is the one I disliked the most.

Average hotel, with some frustrations like the sink in the bathroom that was poorly designed and caused water to flow on the counter and then on the floor anytime we used it. The bathroom did not have any hooks or bars to hang towels. Steaming iron did not work, they brought 3 different ones and none of them worked - dripped water on the floor. The breakfast food was not all fresh, like bread which was stale and dried out. Overall it was overpriced relative to the quality it offered.

The dangling carrot

Drainage system around the shower was absurd, with no sensible solution to the spray caused from the shower, so the bathroom floor was completely wet all the time. The toilet in the bar on the top floor was filthy. The staff were polite and helpful, but some enthusiasm/observation skills from the bar staff would have been ideal.
