Clean room, had everything I needed. Comfy bed. Quiet area, no noise at night. Friendly staff, good breakfast. 5 mins walk to the park which led through to the harbour and ports plus Salamanca markets.

I had a pleasant stay though it would have been nice to have a view from the window! My rate did not include breakfast so I did not avail of it. The gym is very small and a bit tired but nice pool and sauna. Convenient location.

Staff were all lovely and the room was clean. However the room did not smell fresh, it was stuffy and smelt a little funky. There was no sink in the main room - to fill the kettle you had to use the bathroom sink where you also had to get your drinking water as no bottled water was provided. That’s not a deal breaker but it felt odd for a hotel like ibis. I know it was a busy holiday period but the pool area felt a little grotty too.
