Rooms were very small, realize now they did give dimensions but I did not take notice of that. Big bug bear is that they did not warn me about parking which was in the next block and extra cost !!!

Didn’t like the stuffy room. Even with the air conditioning on there was little to no movement of air. Meant that sleep was disturbed (which is what one typically wants from a hotel). Loved the pool and gym and sauna. Well located- we like to walk a bit so even though it was several hundred metres to Salamanca market and shopping, eating, it was perfect. And the skybus stop for the airport was 50 metres away. The other thing that could be improved is the cleansing options in the shower. Detergent is not good for skin in general and certainly bed for my hair. They strip the natural oils and neutralise the natural acidity of skin. Shampoo and soap are detergents. And these are the only options for cleansing offered in your shower. An alternative would be to have conditioner separate from shampoo instead of this marketing myth of the convenience of 2-in-1. Consult a dermatologist if you don’t believe me .

The hotel room was clean and spacious and the bed very comfortable. All meals in the restaurant were delicious and well presented. Very friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Close to the Skybus drop off and pickup and the water front activities.

Good location and new room with good facilities

The stay is good. The level I was allocated has a swimming pool, a sauna and laundry facilities. The room was a little small for me but the reception could upgrade our stay for just another $20 per day which is reasonable. The location of the hotel is also very convenient to the harbor as well as the main shopping belt. The price is also reasonable. Easy check-in and out

The Hobart Ibis Styles Hotel was an excellent place to stay. It hits the mark straight away as the SkyBus from Hobart Airport stops outside (Stop 4). The staff are friendly and competent. The buffet breakfast is a great way to start the day. The pool is superb, with the sauna and gym extra bonuses. The whole hotel is quiet and clean, and located within easy walking distance to the CBD and port/harbour/Salamanca Place, etc. The rooms have nice views of Mt Wellington, which had snow on it during my last day, which a memorable finale. I'll stay there again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ibis Styles Hobart. We stayed 5 nights The rooms are very comfortable & very clean. Bed was so comfortable. Love the 2 shower heads. Our room had great harbour views too. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent parking options Loved the food and atmosphere at the onsite bar and restaurant- Mr Good Guys Great location. The only small whinge is the indoor heated pool was too cold for us to get in.
