You will have the entire house, garage and amenities to enjoy!
Parking: we have 1 car garage and the driveway can park 2 cars. No street parking is permitted at any time, including boats and trailers.
Pet policy: we have a relatively strict pet policy and only accept well trained and well behaved dogs/cats. we have $250 / per pet fee due to the extra cleaning procedures to bring the house to the high standard for our next guests
Patio furniture and BBQ grill are provided as a courtesy during summer and are not actively cleaned or maintained. Please return them to their original condition after use for the convenience of the next guests.
-- Note that propane levels are not actively monitored. If you plan to use the grill, check the propane volume and refill if needed. You can refill propane at the Ace store in Tahoe City, a 13-minute drive away.
-- To avoid bear encounters, please do not leave food outside.
You can find beach chairs, ice chests and a beach umbrella in the garage. Please rinse off sand before bringing them inside the garage.
This house grants access to Chamberland Beach and Mountain Club. During summer, there is free shuttle van service whisking you away to Chambers Landing private sandy beach. There will be lifeguards on duty so you can delight on the private beach with little ones.
However, please note that we don't have direct control over the availability of these amenities. It's the responsibility of the guests to verify which amenities are accessible at any give time. To obtain the most up-to-date information, please visit Chamberland's official website. A quick search could lead you to their website.
Chamberland's beach club access: The membership card is located on the corner next to the refrigerator. Wristbands are issued daily when check-in with membership card, with a different wristband issued each day. Membership card must be shown each day. The lifeguards are not allowed to make exceptions. There are complimentary neighborhood buses available for your convenience (only in July).
In the winter months our HOA plows after 4" of snow and the roads are well maintained by the county. We do recommend our guests travel with AWD or 4WD vehicles as safety is paramount in the snowy mountains.
CANCELLATION: Please note that we adhere to Airbnb's firm cancellation policy and do not offer cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, such as wildfire smoke, winter storms, etc. We recommend all guests purchase travel insurance.
