The best thing about this hotel is the location- it's close to the mall, eateries, and just a short walk/drive to the beach. The hotel is outdated, and the furniture had visible stains, which made the room feel unclean. There was also a fire alert that went off at 1:00 AM, waking everyone up - and no one ever explained what happened. It felt chaotic and stressful, and we couldn't go back to sleep after. They also charge a resort fee; I have been staying in this hotel every time we come to Hawaii but this time, they are charging a resort fee. The front desk staff also lacked the Aloha spirit you'd expect in Hawaii. They weren't particularly friendly or welcoming.

Nice hotel

I stayed for 3 days and I enjoyed the hotel and the staff was friendly and very helpful. I also enjoyed the all you can eat breakfast that was offered at the hotel. The downside was that the parking needs to be updated, because you have to hold on to paper tickets to go in and out of the hotel. One other upgrade the hotel should make is modernizing the bathroom and shower.

Hotel experience

Housekeepers were so accommodating. They brought us everything we needed and timely. Not happy with microwave and refrigerator not working. Location very convenient and room reasonably priced.

The restroom smelled like urine, when you say on the toilet you could see the sink and I between the sink and granite was mildew. The room just felt dirty. The only good thing was how convenient it is to the mall.

Convenient location. First time for room with partial ocean view (usually get city view). What a huge difference as these rooms seem to be updated! Only complaint was our room next to elevator - convenient but noisy at times.
