Extremely dirty throughout the property, especially the floor. I had to call seven times to clarify everything before I could settle in. One front-desk staff member was particularly cold and unfriendly. The only positive is the very convenient location.

"partial ocean view".Built up area of Honolulu. I was on the 21st Floor (of 35 or more ) Other buildings appeared taller. Only a short walk to the beach that is part of Waikiki Beach area. Beach area had plenty of free seating. I am almost 80 yr old person. If I sat directly on the beach, i would not be able to get up without physical assistance. Here there were chairs to sit in and walls to sit on, so no problem. Some nice sunsets but most affected by clouds, the sky got good colors @ sunset anyway. Hotel is one block to Kuhio street where I rode the bus for $1.25 (senior price. Others=$3). Wonderful for getting around. Ist full day there I shopped for groceries (my unit had full kitchen)@ nearbyTarget, Got cereal, a box of instant oatmeal, a good loaf of multigrain bread, a doz eggs, an 8 oz. solid bar of sharp cheddar cheese, a can of tuna, and a packet of shelf stable shredded chicken that did not need draining, a box with 4 sticks of imperial margarine. Prices a little higher than the mainland, but not too bad .Got a target shopping bag for $.99 which I used repeatedly. Stores in Honolulu donot give free bags.Shopped @ abc stores for single use Tide, cookies, and a 2 pack of combs because I had lost mine. Good price for 8 day stay including airfare from/to Sacramento for less than $2 K in Nov. Loved sitting on balcony & Walk-in shower with seat & hand held shower attachment. Did not use pool area. St.Augustine RC church walkable on Oahu st. Recommend.

This was, unfortunately, the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The facilities are extremely dated, and the parking situation is confusing and poorly managed. On top of that, several staff members demonstrated passive-aggressive or even openly aggressive attitudes toward guests. To begin with, the parking garage layout is extremely tight. When I attempted a three-point turn at the entrance because the space was so narrow, an old cranky parking attendant actually yelled at me. The next morning (11/27), things became even worse. The machine did not issue us a parking ticket the previous night because our parking pass expired at 10:30 PM. When exiting the garage, the same parking attendant insisted she would charge us $90 for “no ticket,” even though this was due to the machine not dispensing one. I went to the front desk to report the issue, and the staff member there repeatedly said that the garage “has nothing to do with the hotel.” If that is the case, then why are guests being directed to park there? A second staff member came out and immediately took a very defensive and confrontational tone, telling me that I “needed to understand” that without a ticket I must pay $90. The attitude from both the garage staff and the hotel staff was unprofessional, dismissive, and frankly shocking. This experience left me extremely disappointed. Based on the condition of the facilities and the conduct of your staff, I would never return to this hotel.

This hotel worked perfect for our family of four. It was a great location, less than 5 min walk from the beach. We really enjoyed the 2 bedroom apartment layout with kitchen and living room. Loved the balcony as well, beautiful views. Room was nice and quiet and soundproof, never heard anyone in the rooms next to us. My only critique is that the blinds in the bathroom and living room could use replaced but we definitely will be staying here again!
