I liked everything about the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort & Spa except the resort and parking fee. They even had a tax on the resort fee. Now that is crazy.

The property overall was nice, and pretty much ocean front, which was really nice, the staff were so amazing! What I didn’t love is how unkept the rooms are. The tub paint was coming off in the shower, they had a bidet which was really cool but literally no pressure so it pretty much didn’t work, and the room itself was so dated, oh the elevator had tile that was all torn up, they just need to renovate because for the price I paid: that hotel should be nicer

Nice hotel for your stay but not worth the price. The hotel isn’t a “resort” but charges resort fees. The property is extremely outdated with water stains in the roof. Small “upgrades” were made to the rooms to make it feel modern but it is still obvious that the hotel is old. Parking is horrible. The self park price per day is expensive and the parking garage is almost impossible to navigate as it is so compacted and cramped. Initial staff that we interacted with at the front desk was not informative or helpful but everyone one else we interacted with was friendly. The location was the best thing about this hotel. It is in the middle of Waikiki beach and walkable to almost anything in that area. If you’re planning on going around the island, you would definitely need a car, but for Waikīkī purposes, this hotel is in an ideal spot. They have pretty much everything you need on the property, like “rentable” pool/beach towels (free if you return within 24 hours), onsite stores, convenience stores, coffee shops, and restaurants. Breakfast buffet was great and worth the price, I’d recommend including it in your package.

The photos make it seem that the property is beachfront but there is a busy street you have to cross to get to the beach. Traffic is very noisy. However, hotel is upscale and views from upper floors were excellent. Maid service was daily and very thorough.
