Facilities outdated and run down. Tower rooms are small. No room service. Empty mini bar. No turn down service. Strange chemical smell in rooms. Everything feels old. Hotel pool is tiny - have to go to Sheraton for larger pool, but no sun lounges available. Half our room keys didn’t work. Mai Tai bar allows non guests to dine there - and, given the iconic nature of this resort, this means there is generally a line and a one hour wait at peak times. Cleaners did a good job and the staff were nice. Surrounding gardens are beautiful. Proximity to shops and restaurants and Waikiki beach is excellent. Could not recommend to a friend though, due to above issues.

This was a unique property in the midst of a chaotic city filled with tourists. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Everyone that worked there was kind and helpful. I wish the hours of the breakfast area and the bakery where longer.

Loved being able to enjoy Waikiki, but return to the quiet and elegance of this hotel. Morning yoga on the grass was a fun way to start each day. All the employees were so kind and helpful. We will return!

I'm disappointed to report that the property is not being maintained. I've visited three times, and during my most recent stay, I noticed numerous damaged items and signs of wear and tear. This hotel no longer meets the standards of luxury that I expected. The furnishings and decor are in dire need of updates, and the balcony feels outdated, resembling any average hotel rather than a premium experience. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

Property right on the strip near all the shopping. East beach access but not the nicest beach on Honolulu. Staff very nice and welcoming, willing to go above and beyond to help out. I would recommend staying here if you are there for shopping and easy access to entertainment.
