We used to love to come to the Arrington had been many times before. This time there were alot of hidden fees and charges made to my credit card that i was not informed of. They tried to charge $50 saying i didn't check out in time when i did and have the receipt as proof. Parking was horrible, we had to use the parking garage down the street and it was stupid expensive for 2 days!

Very run down loud construction at all hours in the hotel on our floor even! Property cleanliness neglected! Hot tub never usable or stocked outside bathroom always locked. Valet and front desk customer service amazing! Love the vintage but definitely needs better house keeping and maintenance

Should have stayed at the comfort inn

I wanted a relaxing couple of days in Hot Springs, so I specifically searched for something with a hot tub. The comfort inn and suites looked nice and had an indoor hot tub and pool. The Arlington was historic, had a hot tub and better location. I thought about it and went with the Arlington. Got there, read the paper taking about services for the week. It says the hot tub is open! The hot tub wasn’t open. The front desk tried to play like people were just using it. It hadn’t worked in months. The work out room was closed. Caps from previous use of soaps left in the shower (pictured). The door to my room wouldn’t lock from the inside. You can’t control the ac. And being on the bathing floor the sound of the pumps start at 8am every morning and sound like a chain saw going in the next room. I also had to pay 59 dollars for parking. I expected the extra 30 was for parking but twice the amount quoted. Instead of a relaxing vacation I got early morning wake-up's, a dirty room, lied to and no amenities that I wanted. I paid a little more to stay at the place that had what I wanted and a better location. I should have paid less money and stayed at the comfort inn.

Don’t stay in room 358!

We love historic hotels, so we were really excited about our stay at The Arlington. When we arrived, we found dirty sheets on our bed. However, they resolved that quickly. The next morning we opened our curtains to find a board over our window. That was definitely NOT the view we had hoped for. Self-parking is $22 a night. We were also told that the whirlpool was open, but that was not true. The exercise room was also closed. Nevertheless, it is a beautiful, grand old hotel in a lovely town. The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, so that helped salvage our stay.

Not good at all.

The A/C blew hot air regardless of settings. It was so hot in the room. Stains everywhere. The bathroom looked like it hasn't been updated since the 1950s. The parking garage is terrible. No safe way to walk in or out. Definitely not worth the money.
