“Fun” place! — Exceptional" —near Oaklawn Park, Garvin Gardens and Restaurants

This is one of those neat, special places that you rarely get a chance to enjoy, but please be our guest to do just that.
This is a 1920s cypress and pine cabin that sits on a large lot with a great view of Moonlight Bay on Lake Hamilton.
Our cabin has been thoughtfully remodeled in 2016 to keep the great knotty pine walls and exposed rafters and updated kitchen and bath with marble counters and subway tile.
As you come in the front door, you are greeted with an inviting coffee bar to the right, and you instantly feel excited about seeing the rest of the place -----and it just has a nice feel to it.
The master bedroom has a King size bed and the smaller bedroom has two matching extra-long twin beds.

While this cabin is only 1000 square feet, it fells large and spacious. It has a large couch and TV in the great room. Outside enjoy coffee or a meal on the screened in back porch and enjoy the rock and cypress fireplace in the fall, winter and spring.
In the summer, the property sits on a half-acre of gently sloping yard with that great view of the lake. There is a small firepit for use with firewood also.
There is not direct access to the lake for swimming or fishing. While there is a subdivision boat launch 5 houses down that you are welcome to use, there is not a boat dock to tie up to. You can park your boat in the lake down at the put in and walk up and back though if you have or rent a boat. .
The cabin is only about 3 miles and a straight shot to Oaklawn park, at only 8 minutes away. Magic Springs Water and Fun Park is about 5 miles away also. The property is only about 5 minutes away from Sam’s Club, Lowes, Newks , Bed Bath and Beyond, and tons of other shopping!!!
There is a strong WIFI and the three TVs all are smart TVs.

I think I talked to Holly mostly, but both her and Brian were wonderful hosts. Giving me plenty of details so I had no questions. Its a cute, quaint country cabin with plenty of space for my family of 4. We loved the games in the living area and the back patio was lovely. Looking forward to our next trip!

Brian and Holly did a fantastic job rennovating this cabin. You can tell it's a well loved home. The area where it is located is a peaceful respit from downtown, but it's only about 15 minutes from all the main attractions. The recommendations they gave us for food and activities were great. They are wonderful hosts who provide everything you could possibly need.

Don’t stay here unless you’re ready to have a truly amazing time. this home was amazing in everything they have prepared for our stay even little extras, like condiments and seasonings laundry soap and luscious towels and fans for extra air. It was a fabulous place.

The cottage is even more beautiful than in the pictures. It is very clean and comfortable and we felt very much at home there. They have everything that you need (coffee, toiletries, etc.). We spent a lot of time on the beautiful screened in porch. Brian contacted us by text and was a very gracious host. The location is great too as it was 15-20 mins from Bathouse Row Downtown, Garvin Gardens, Hot Springs National Park Hiking Trails, Restaurants, etc. Hot Springs is a beautiful place with a lot of fun history. I would highly recommend staying here. We had a great time!!

The home was quaint and cozy. Brian was an excellent host. Cabin was well stocked. The only thing that bothered us was something the host couldn’t control. The neighbors unsightly giant blue tarp on an old camper and it was a little scary turning left out of the neighborhood due to the traffic coming over the close hill!

Great Place!

This is such a great place to stay! It is very warm and inviting. They have done an amazing job restoring the old cottage. It has a very nice large back yard. The back deck is amazing with great views of the lake. I enjoyed opening the back door and listening to the ducks, geese and birds. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. All of the appliances are very nice and updated. The bed was super comfy with very nice linens. The host was super friendly and very helpful with great places to eat and thing to do.

Beautiful cabin with sunset views

We stayed during the last week of March and enjoyed the deck and screen porch so much! We caught some sun during the afternoons and then had a fire in the screen porch fireplace in the evening when it was cooler. The cabin is adorable and very comfortable for a family. The street entrance is a little tricky on a hill, but we just drove one block over and used that street instead to get on the main road. We would absolutely stay here again.
