We've recently completed a full renovation of our home and trust you'll appreciate the updates, upgrades, and special decorating touches.
We invite you to vacation in style at a professionally decorated and fully updated lakefront location. Our year-round home is 900 square feet in size. You will have plenty of room to spread out in comfort during your visit. Families consistently mention the size and comfort of our home as well as praise our location and accommodating lakefront.
Make lasting memories as you and your family relax, fish, swim, and play at Michigan's largest inland lake. This section of the lake has a firm sandy bottom that stays shallow for quite a way. The West Shore of Houghton Lake is commonly referred to as the "Calm Side". You can easily walk from our lawn into the water without the hassle of constantly climbing up and over a concrete, steel, or stone barrier. This is a fantastic location for families with small children.
Inside our home you will appreciate how the primary bedrooms (both with a Queen mattress’) and full bath are separated from the main living area for privacy and relaxation. The additional sleeping accommodations are two pull out sofas (both with Queen mattress’) for additional guests to enjoy.
The kitchen is modern and welcoming with stainless-steel appliances and cutting board counter tops. The updated décor throughout our home transitions seamlessly from room to room and adds the perfect finishing touch.
The entire living area is open, warm, and inviting offering fantastic views of the lake.
Four Smart TV’s with internet capabilities is provided for your enjoyment. All rooms contain Smart TV’s.
We'll close by saying again this is a family home in a family neighborhood. Please be a good neighbor at all times during your stay.
You will enjoy exclusive access to our entire home and yard. We are not part of a condo association. Other things to note, We Love our home on Houghton Lake. Should you decide to visit there are a few things you need to know.
First and foremost.........We have a Family Friendly home in a Quiet Family Friendly Neighborhood.

Our home is a place for family and friends to gather while enjoying this beautifully tranquil area. Our neighbors ARE NOT ON VACATION..............you must be considerate of those around you at all times and seamlessly blend into the neighborhood.

We want to take a moment to summarize our rules so this is a fantastic experience for everyone:
*We require the primary renter to be over the age of 35.
*Occupancy at our home is STRICTLY limited to 8 individuals. This limit also applies to the use of our yard, and waterfront areas. We want you to have a fantastic time; but YOU MUST be a good neighbor. At no point can our home, yard, or waterfront be used to entertain/host additional friends and family. Please reach out to us if you have questions.
*Outside activities (campfires, music, loud conversations, etc.) that have the potential to disturb neighbors MUST FULLY CONCLUDE BEFORE 10:00 pm.
*There will be a locked closet/inaccessible as it contains our personal items.
