Unsanitary!!

We traveled 3 hours to Houston and of course was tired when we got there. When entering it there was a sign up with no more rooms as they're booked. When taking my family to the room it was a mess,the floors was sticky and there was still food droppings on the table. The beds was a mess removed the blankets and threw it on the side, the shower was broken. There wasn't anything we could do as it was late and was told the next morning that there was a new housekeeper that may not have caught everything. Really unsanitary. Did not look anything like what they put up in pictures. This hotel was a mess!! Smell was bad.

So I didn’t properly map the area and that’s my fault. It’s on brand for a property that close to the freeway. Floors in the restroom and living/bedroom area were filthy. Sheets had stains, but I slept in my clothes and put a jacket over the pillows so it was fine. Towels seemed clean and fresh so that’s a good point. Never saw a roach. They repaired many holes in the walls so when/if they paint the whole room it will look better. Bed was sunken in and there were white “stains” on the couch and chair- maybe that suite was a honeymoon suite idk. I sanitized the desk and that black leather chair- no issues with those. Hot showers were great. To recap: for a motel by the freeway it’s average, will I return? Absolutely not.

I had 2 accidents where people tried getting into my room with a key i had to tell one dude he had the wrong room! & the second it was at 4am i wake up to the door literally almost opening but i had that thing where u can lock in the door (thankfully) it was some people that used a key and it worked. Terrible experience do not book here

Don't trust the online pics..Terrible!

The place is filthy and run-down. The pics offered are very decptive. They must have been taken a long time ago. According to staff, the new management isn"t maintaum9ng the property. I was shown a letter, by a member of the staff, that shows they failed a mantanience audit. We canceled the seconnd night sue to the condition of the place. The place started to go down hill fast after new management took over 3 months ago.

I recently stayed at Comfort Suites Stafford and had an extremely disappointing and unsafe experience that I feel compelled to share. My wife and I booked a stay from February 28 to March 3, 2025, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. Here's why: Unsafe and Hazardous Conditions: • The elevator was malfunctioning, with sudden drops and loud, unnerving noises. It was extremely concerning, and I didn't feel safe using it. • The hallways smelled like a mix of rotten odors and marijuana, which was not only unpleasant but also unsanitary. • Our assigned room had an overpowering rotten smell that seemed to have lingered for weeks, making it unbearable to stay in. • The towels in the bathroom were dirty and had visible pubic hair on them. A second towel I checked was stained. Thankfully, my wife had brought her own towel to avoid using the hotel’s. • The bathroom was filthy, with peeling wallpaper, dim lighting, and a broken soap dispenser. • I noticed visible bedbugs in the room, though I wasn't able to take a photo before they scurried away. • The sofa and carpets in the room were stained with what looked like bodily fluids. The room was completely uninhabitable due to the unsanitary conditions. • The refrigerator leaked water, creating a slipping hazard. Unfortunately, I slipped and injured my hip as a result. • There were loud disturbances throughout the night, and at around 1:42 AM, someone knocked on our door, leaving my wife and me feeling unsafe and unsettled. Try changing my RSVP dates and bought the insurance thinking this was what it was for and was told that they weren't going to refund or help with date changing. With no control of our circumstances and having a family trip with our 6 children I don't think allowing almost $200 not refunded or assisted with a date change isn't okay! Really the entire reason insurance was purchased!
