The hotel was not clean at all. There is some type of bug infestation around the pool area. The pool was full of bugs that looked like cockroaches the first day we stayed (they were floating and swimming in the water). The second day they had cleaned them out of the pool water, but left dead ones all over the pool area, to the point that we couldn't walk to the hot tub without stepping on them. We didn't see the area swept or cleaned up at all throughout our 3 night stay. The pool area was the worst, but the room was not good either. There was mildew growing in the window, the floor has broken tiles and areas under the carpet where you could feel the sub-floor had broken down. All around this property is in dis-repair and needs to be cleaned. The staff and breakfast were the only positives, staff were friendly and the breakfast was pretty good.

We stayed for a wedding for 4 days and we did put up the sign on the door for no cleaning. However, during my initial inspection(I do this at every place we stay because you can never be too careful) the room wasn’t very clean, there was blonde hairs in the shower wall. I also lifted the sheets off the bed to check for bed bugs and the mattress was stained. I didn’t put on a complaint. Besides that the breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly. Would consider staying again but definitely would mention this next time.
