We have stayed here for years, every time we come to see my husband's daughters who live in Houston. But the last few times has made it where we wont stay there again. No one EVER at the front desk. Had to wait a long time for someone to show up just to check in. This property has 2 buildings, and the secondary building is subpar, at best. We have had broken tubs (holes literally in them) and broken air conditioning and broken lights (not the bulb, either, because maintenance changed them and still didnt work). We prefer to stay in the main building because its quieter, cleaner, and doesnt reek of marijuana like the second building does. Also, if you want breakfast, you have to walk through the parking lot to the main building to get it, and that is a problem, especially in bad weather or cold weather. This time, we booked a suite and were told it was just a room with a hideaway sofa bed. The sofa was disgusting, dirty, stained. The chair in the room looked like Wolverine got mad at it.... the seat was all separated and torn. The toilet almost overflowed several times. And yes, thw floor reeks of marijuana. The elevator buttons work, but dont all light up so you can't tell for sure until it finally starts moving.
When i asked the girl that finally showed up at the front desk if we could have a room in the main building she didnt even bother to check and see what was available. Instead, she just glanced at the screen for a split second, then told us that she had nothing.
