This is the perfect spot for events at NRG with less than a mile walk. Plenty of eateries and a Target basically next door. The breakfast was good and check out the bar in the evenings. 24 hr coffee and water was a plus! Everyone was polite and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

I have no idea why this place is rated a 2 Star hotel. This place is great. The best part, by far, is the bartender. He goes by “T”. A true professional, gentleman, mixologist, and vibe creator. I was here for work and literally looked forward to hanging with “T” after 14 hour days.

I do not really want to give Ylem a 3 review--but the bed was not great, some of the furniture old and beat up, the breakfast was pretty meh. The staff were very nice, and the place was clean and is very convenient. And the price was right.

Property was under outside construction but not an issue. Room was clean, soft towels, comfortable bed and uniquely decorated. Staff was polite and helpful. I’d stay here again.

Being remodeled- clean, large rooms. The bed is comfy. Located close to the medical district, which is why I was staying there, but also located next to a storage facility and apartments. I’ve is only located on 3rd floor. A few things are missing - towel bars/hooks and a security lock on the door. Relatively small hotel, which I like. Nice area for breakfast and playing games or just hanging out. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again. Small parking lot, but parking is free.

The property was being renovated (Feb25) but it didn't very much interfere with the stay. Information about using the tram (how to use and where to buy tickets) which is only one block away would be helpful. Only 4 tram stops from the museum district and walking distance to NRG Stadium. So handy location at a good price, clean and friendly staff. I'd go back there

Charming old style comfort on a budget

The staff was excellent. Although the property is older it was quiet, comfortable and clean. The breakfast and bar room were comfortable and an excellent gathering space. Charming. There were dining and shopping options within easy walking distance. free parking
