The airport was packed with packed up flights and the hotels were filling up with new visitors and the old ones weren't leaving because they are stranded, yet the staff at the Houston Marriott was keeping its cool while doing its best to accommodate all the guest......and they did a great job!! They were even able to accommodate our request when we made the reservation for the wrong day!! These guys are great!!!

A/C controled you cannot change the room temperature it is 35 degrees outside and I have the thermostat set to 81 degrees but it only stays at 61 degrees WTH MARRIOT

This is my 5th time staying here I get a suite online it shows it's it's a room with 2 Queen beds then the suite part comes in it shows connecting online it shows a connecting suite so the kids can play there games in the connecting room but once you get here it's the same room as a casual room with 2 Queen beds and they just added a t.v and a couch in the same room so if u wanted to watch t.v you couldn't really because both TVs are in the same room across from each other really 3 things that's wrong 2nd online it shows free breakfast when you arrive they charge $21.65 for breakfast they say Expedia does not cover breakfast when clearly when booking on Expedia it says free breakfast included 3rd thing the A/C & Heater Do not work I have been here 5 different times in different rooms and all the same it lets you change the settings but nothing happens it stays at whatever the hotel has it at right now it is January 25 2026 and I set the thermostat to 81 degrees but it shows 61 degrees and it has stayed that way the whole night Houston is having a freeze and how am I in a hotel and the heater will not come on and it is on automatically set to 61 degrees Marriot you are a big well known establishment do no try and cheat or save money you are already making money on every stay do not be TOO GREADY THAT YOU FORGET ABOUT THE COMMON NEEDS OF YPUR GUEST THAT STAY HERE As well as the $15.00 parking fee when anyone can drive in at anytime No security in the parking lot so why charge$

The bathroom was not very clean. Dust on the floor and I highly doubt it had been cleaned. I found several hairs in the bed sheets. We only had to stay one night thankfully.
