Refrigerator didn’t work and no one was available to fix or help. Ruined the food we put in there. Other than that, an amazing location, nice room and great service.

If you’re looking for a studio-style room and are independent, this hotel could work for you—the bed was comfortable, and the small kitchen was convenient. However, beyond that, the experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, valet service was inattentive, with the attendant absorbed in his phone. Check-in was smoother, thanks to friendly staff members Taniya and Nelli. However, throughout the stay, many staff members were constantly on their phones or wearing AirPods, which was unprofessional. Room service was another issue. The first morning, calling for service led to an indefinite hold, so we ended up dining in the restaurant instead. The next day, when my wife called the front desk for room service, Tay stated we needed to call the restaurant and hung up. Attempted to call the restaurant and was met with a disconnected phone. When I confronted the front desk about this, the interaction escalated, and the manager, Trey, was unhelpful and dismissive. His unprofessional behavior, including casually singing at the desk with AirPods in the night before, made it hard to take him seriously. Instead of resolving issues, he focused on my tone rather than addressing concerns. Frustrated, I chose to let this review speak for itself and kept to myself for the remainder of the stay. If good service matters to you, look elsewhere.

I absolutely love staying at The Rusk House. Amazing apt homes, friendly staff, very clean apts, very spacious. cultural activities near by, restaurants accessible within walking distance. Coffee or literally whatever you want is near by. My husband and I ONLY place of choice when visiting Houston. 😍

The Rusk apartments were great for my work trip, with a living room, kitchen and bedroom, it was spacious. The workout room is high quality and the coffee machine in the lobby was a real treat! Highly recommend!

Very nice stay for 3 nights, business trip solo. There aren't many choices near hotel for restaurant, and so decided to cook using the nice kitchen inside the room. It is spacious with full service kitchen and a nice bedroom. Everything are nice and clean, new. Walking distance to Convention Centre (around 10 mins walk), 15 mins walk to Toyota Centre for NBA game, and 7 mins walking to the nearby grocery!

Pretty nice room, spacious, clean and everything felt new. Furnished kitchen but I did not use it. Stayed 3 nights and heater worked great the 1st 2 nights but faltered on the 3rd, had to set it to the highest setting just to get it to heat the room. Location is good in that it's close to stuff, though can get kind of noise outside, so needed earplugs. Only real problem was I had the DND on the door and housekeeping knocked on the door to replenish the minibar. If the DND is up they should knock only for emergencies. A few minutes earlier would have been pretty bad.
