Spanish Ranch on the Arkansas River- enjoy the rushing river from the Hot tub!

'Casa Bella del Rio' as we have named this River house has been a renovated into a Spanish style hacienda with a living room, dining room, kitchen and 4 good size bedrooms with 3 full baths. All the floors have been updated with tile and hardwood. The furnishings are all new and are Spanish style as well. There are mountain views from every direction. The house sits on 2 acres, right on the river. There is river access for kayaking and fishing. We have recently built a lower deck with stairs up to the house. A really great spot to relax or just sit with your fishing gear.

The deck is a great place to enjoy the views, eat lunch or sit in the hot tub and just relax!

Beautiful home and view

We had a wonderful stay. Comfortable home with a family area with enough room for the entire family to hang out. Kitchen had everything we needed for the few meals we cooked at the house. My high school son went for a several mile run each morning and felt safe in the area.

Summer Getaway!

The house was great for nine of us. There was plenty of room for all. Nice and quiet with the river running in the back yard. Close to town with lots of eating establishments. I believe this is the sixth time that I have stayed here. I would definitely stay here again.

Magic on the Arkansas

Superb location to access the fun of rafting, the sweet fishing holes of the property, the beauty of the area, and the towns of Salida and Cañon. The best equipped VRBO I’ve ever stayed in, and a super accommodating host who was an excellent communicator. Great little restaurant, Dusty Rose, and cafe nearby was a nice perk! So happy to have had our family gather here!

Nice home in the mountains countryside in Howard. Beautiful surroundings scenery with lots to explore. Conveniently close to Salida. Lots of sleeping arrangement space, good kitchen and dining areas.

Hallmark christmas

This property was perfect for our Christmas trip. It was like we where staying in a hallmark movie! The kitchen was well stocked for anything you needed to cook with. Very impressed. The guys loved the fact it had horseshoe pits!! It was also great to have the hottub to come back to after a long day of skiing.

Beautiful home. Had everything we needed. The only negatives I would are there were TONS of waps around the outside of the home and inside of the garage. It made the area hard to use. The were wasp nests everywhere too. Water also had a bad smell.

We had a group of 7 adults and the house was perfect for us. There were plenty of rooms and beds. The outside space had access to the river and incredible views. Easy to find and access. Great hot tub. No complaints!!

Great house, great location! Well stocked with everything you would need to make a meal. Less than 20 minutes into town. On a nice flat quiet road with very little traffic. Everything the owner says in the listing and much more. We loved it!

Friends Get Away

This home was perfect for our trip, there was plenty of room for everyone! We were right along the Arkansas River and we found a great fishing and swimming hole not far from the house. The kitchen had all the cookware and dishes we needed. The deck was also nice to sit on in the mornings and drink our coffee! The only drawback to the house is there is no cooling and it was really hot while we were there. There were plenty of fans to help move the air, but it just wasn't enough to keep the house cool.

Another Great Vacation!

This was my family's third time at this house and it was great, as usual. Plenty of room and bathrooms for our family of 10. The views from the back porch are still spectacular and the kitchen was well equipped to handle all the cooking done during the week. A good base for exploring the area, from Salida to Monarch to St. Elmo.Try the pizza at Amica's and Moonlight. Our family is divided on which is best.
