It’s more the standard of a hostel with private rooms than a hotel. Downstairs communal area is nice, with free ice lollies, tea and coffee. They do not do breakfast. Rooms are very cramped, particularly if you are a couple and not well designed; kept stubbing toes and tripping over the step to the bathroom. Shower was weird. Lights to room are by the bed, not by the door. No where really to put your bags, it’s so cramped. Also we asked them to make up the room, and all they did was empty the bins and add a few cups. Didn’t make it change the bed, towels, nor replace the tea. Not a great job. Staff were generally nice and helpful though. Would we stay there again? No.

Here’s a refined version of your review: I recently stayed at this hotel, and while the location is very convenient, the overall experience was disappointing due to its messiness. The hotel is situated in a historic area near the railroad station, making it easy for travelers like me to commute. From here, I could easily visit My Market, the traditional market, and the Pacific Ocean Park.One of the highlights of this location is the free bike rental, which allowed me to explore the nearby trails, including the scenic Cheung trails. This added a lot of value to my trip and made getting around effortless. this hotel is an excellent choice due to its prime location and accessibility.

Close to train station with walking distance. Staffs are friendly. I like that they provide hot and cold water for free to refill. Good experience. They allow us store our luggages in the storage for haft day after check out.

Really enjoyed our stay at Meci Hotel. Excellent location near the train station. Great breakfast place next door. Rooms very clean. Coffee and snacks available in the spacious lobby. They helped us organize an excellent driver for our day in Taroko gorge. Accommodated us as we travleee with a baby. Very responsive !
